Then Saul’s anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said unto him, Thou son of the perverse rebellious[ woman], do not I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thine own confusion, and unto the confusion of thy mother’s nakedness?

扫罗向约拿单发怒，对他说：“你这邪恶叛逆妇人所生之子！难道我不知道你是站在耶西的儿子那边吗？你这样做不但自取其辱，也使你母亲蒙羞。

于是扫罗向约拿单发怒，对他说：“你这邪僻悖逆妇人所生的，我岂不知道你喜悦耶西的儿子，自取羞辱，也羞辱生你的母亲吗？

扫罗就向约拿单发怒，对他说：“你这忤逆的娼妇之子！难道我不知道吗？你在袒护耶西的儿子，以致自己蒙羞，也使你母亲露体蒙羞！

掃羅向約拿單發怒，對他說：「你這頑梗背逆之婦人所生的，我豈不知道你喜悅耶西的兒子，自取羞辱，以致你母親露體蒙羞嗎？

掃羅向約拿單怒氣大發，對他說：「你這頑梗悖逆之婦人所生的，我怎麼會不知道你選擇耶西的兒子，自取羞辱，也使你母親露體蒙羞呢？

掃羅向約拿單怒氣大發，對他說：「你這頑梗悖逆之婦人所生的，我怎麼會不知道你選擇耶西的兒子，自取羞辱，也使你母親露體蒙羞呢？

掃羅向約拿單發怒，對他說：「你這邪惡叛逆婦人所生之子！難道我不知道你是站在耶西的兒子那邊嗎？你這樣做不但自取其辱，也使你母親蒙羞。

於是掃羅向約拿單發怒，對他說：“你這邪僻悖逆婦人所生的，我豈不知道你喜悅耶西的兒子，自取羞辱，也羞辱生你的母親嗎？

掃羅便向約拿單發怒，說：『邪曲背逆的婦人生的！難道我不知道你取悅了耶西的兒子、而自取羞辱，以致你母親的下體蒙羞辱麼？

掃羅就向約拿單發怒，對他說：「你這忤逆的娼婦之子！難道我不知道嗎？你在袒護耶西的兒子，以致自己蒙羞，也使你母親露體蒙羞！

掃羅怒約拿單曰、頑梗悖逆之婦所生者、我豈不知爾簡耶西之子、致辱爾身、及母體乎、

掃羅怒之、曰、爾母悖逆、故生子若此。我知爾簡耶西之子、辱及爾母、並辱爾身。

掃羅怒約拿單曰、爾頑梗背逆之婦所生、我知爾悅耶西子、辱及爾身、並辱爾母也、

Saul’s anger flared up at Jonathan and he said to him,“ You son of a perverse and rebellious woman! Don’t I know that you have sided with the son of Jesse to your own shame and to the shame of the mother who bore you?

Saul became very angry with Jonathan. He said to him,“ You are an evil son. You have refused to obey me. I know that you are on the side of Jesse’s son. You should be ashamed of that. And your mother should be ashamed of having a son like you.

Then Saul’s anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said to him,“ You son of a perverse, rebellious woman, do I not know that you have chosen the son of Jesse to your own shame, and to the shame of your mother’s nakedness?

Saul boiled with rage at Jonathan.“ You stupid son of a whore!” he swore at him.“ Do you think I don’t know that you want him to be king in your place, shaming yourself and your mother?

Then Saul became angry with Jonathan and shouted,“ You son of a perverse and rebellious woman! Don’t I know that you are siding with Jesse’s son to your own shame and to the disgrace of your mother?

Then Saul’s anger burned against Jonathan, and he said to him,“ You son of a perverse, rebellious woman! Do I not know that you are choosing the son of Jesse to your own shame, and to the shame of your mother’s nakedness?

Then Saul’s anger was aroused against Jonathan, and he said to him,“ You son of a perverse, rebellious woman! Do I not know that you have chosen the son of Jesse to your own shame and to the shame of your mother’s nakedness?

Then Saul became angry with Jonathan and shouted,“ You son of a perverse and rebellious woman! Don’t I know that you are siding with Jesse’s son to your own shame and to the disgrace of your mother?

Saul became angry with Jonathan and said to him,“ You stupid traitor! Don’t I realize that to your own disgrace and to the disgrace of your mother’s nakedness you have chosen this son of Jesse?

Then Saul’s anger burned against Jonathan, and he said to him,“ You son of a perverse rebellious woman, don’t I know that you have chosen the son of Jesse to your own shame, and to the shame of your mother’s nakedness?

Proud[ and] haughty scorner[ is] his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one.

[ He that is] slow to wrath[ is] of great understanding: but[ he that is] hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

A stone[ is] heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool’s wrath[ is] heavier than them both.

A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver[ him], yet thou must do it again.

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

The king’s wrath[ is] as the roaring of a lion; but his favour[ is] as dew upon the grass.

He that[ hath] no rule over his own spirit[ is like] a city[ that is] broken down,[ and] without walls.

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
