就是我死后，耶和华从地上剪除你仇敌的时候，你也永不可向我家绝了恩惠。”

就是耶和华从地面逐一剪除大卫仇敌的时候，你也永不可向我家断绝恩惠。”

就是耶和华从地面逐一剪除大卫仇敌的时候，你也永不可向我家断绝恩惠。”

在我死后，即使耶和华把你所有的仇敌都毁灭了，请你仍旧恩待我的后人。”

我死了以后，耶和华从地上一一剪除大卫的仇敌的时候，你也不可向我的家永远断绝你的慈爱。”

在耶和华把大卫的每个仇敌从这地面上剪除的时候，愿你也不要对我家断绝慈爱，直到永远。”

就是我死後，耶和華從地上剪除你仇敵的時候，你也永不可向我家絕了恩惠。」

就是耶和華從地面逐一剪除大衛仇敵的時候，你也永不可向我家斷絕恩惠。」

就是耶和華從地面逐一剪除大衛仇敵的時候，你也永不可向我家斷絕恩惠。」

在我死後，即使耶和華把你所有的仇敵都毀滅了，請你仍舊恩待我的後人。」

我死了以後，耶和華從地上一一剪除大衛的仇敵的時候，你也不可向我的家永遠斷絕你的慈愛。”

求你也永不向我家剪斷忠愛。但假使永恆主從地上剪滅了大衛每一個仇敵，

在耶和華把大衛的每個仇敵從這地面上剪除的時候，願你也不要對我家斷絕慈愛，直到永遠。」

厥後耶和華殲大衛諸敵於地時、亦勿絕爾仁慈於我家、歷世靡暨、

爾亦必施恩於我家、歲恆不絕。

至主以爾敵悉滅於地、亦勿與我家絕恩、至於永遠、或作不第我生存時爾當為主施恩於我即我死後主以爾敵俱滅於地亦勿與我家絕恩至於永遠

and do not ever cut off your kindness from my family— not even when the Lord has cut off every one of David’s enemies from the face of the earth.”

And never stop being kind to my family. Don’t stop even when the Lord has cut off every one of your enemies from the face of the earth.”

and do not cut off your steadfast love from my house forever, when the Lord cuts off every one of the enemies of David from the face of the earth.”

treat my family with this faithful love, even when the Lord destroys all your enemies from the face of the earth.”

And you shall never cut off your loyalty to my house, not even when the Lord cuts off every one of the enemies of David from the face of the earth.”

but you shall not cut off your kindness from my house forever, no, not when the Lord has cut off every one of the enemies of David from the face of the earth.”

but also thou shalt not cut off thy kindness from my house for ever; no, not when Jehovah hath cut off the enemies of David every one from the face of the earth.

but you shall also not cut off your kindness from my house forever; no, not when Yahweh has cut off every one of the enemies of David from the surface of the earth.”

David spared Mephibosheth, the son of Saul’s son Jonathan, because of the oath of the LORD that was between David and Jonathan, Saul’s son.

David asked,“ Is there anyone remaining from the family of Saul I can show kindness to for Jonathan’s sake?”There was a servant of Saul’s family named Ziba. They summoned him to David, and the king said to him,“ Are you Ziba?”“ I am your servant,” he replied.So the king asked,“ Is there anyone left of Saul’s family that I can show the kindness of God to?” Ziba said to the king,“ There is still Jonathan’s son who was injured in both feet.”The king asked him,“ Where is he?” Ziba answered the king,“ You’ll find him in Lo-debar at the house of Machir son of Ammiel.”So King David had him brought from the house of Machir son of Ammiel in Lo-debar.Mephibosheth son of Jonathan son of Saul came to David, fell facedown, and paid homage. David said,“ Mephibosheth!”“ I am your servant,” he replied.“ Don’t be afraid,” David said to him,“ since I intend to show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all your grandfather Saul’s fields, and you will always eat meals at my table.”

Therefore swear to me by the LORD that you will not cut off my descendants or wipe out my name from my father’s family.”
