But if my father intends to harm you, may the Lord deal with Jonathan, be it ever so severely, if I do not let you know and send you away in peace. May the Lord be with you as he has been with my father.

But suppose he wants to harm you. And I don’t let you know about it. Suppose I don’t help you get away in peace. Then may the Lord punish me greatly. May he be with you, just as he has been with my father.

But should it please my father to do you harm, the Lord do so to Jonathan and more also if I do not disclose it to you and send you away, that you may go in safety. May the Lord be with you, as he has been with my father.

But if he is angry and wants you killed, may the Lord strike me and even kill me if I don’t warn you so you can escape and live. May the Lord be with you as he used to be with my father.

If my father intends to bring evil on you, may the LORD punish Jonathan and do so severely if I do not tell you and send you away so you may leave safely. May the LORD be with you, just as he was with my father.

If it pleases my father to do you harm, may the Lord do so to me and more so, if I fail to inform you and send you away, so that you may go in safety. And may the Lord be with you as He has been with my father.

may the Lord do so and much more to Jonathan. But if it pleases my father to do you evil, then I will report it to you and send you away, that you may go in safety. And the Lord be with you as He has been with my father.

Jehovah do so to Jonathan, and more also, should it please my father to do thee evil, if I disclose it not unto thee, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in peace: and Jehovah be with thee, as he hath been with my father.

“ Now, my son, may the LORD be with you! May you succeed and build a temple for the LORD your God, just as he announced you would.

No one will be able to resist you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not abandon you or leave you alone.

David went on to say,“ The LORD who delivered me from the lion and the bear will also deliver me from the hand of this Philistine!” Then Saul said to David,“ Go! The LORD will be with you.”

Wherever you die, I will die– and there I will be buried. May the LORD punish me severely if I do not keep my promise! Only death will be able to separate me from you!”

Eli said,“ What message did he speak to you? Don’t conceal it from me. God will judge you severely if you conceal from me anything that he said to you!”

So Saul feared David, because the LORD was with him but had departed from Saul.

But my loyal love will not be removed from him as I removed it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.

“ When these signs have taken place, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God will be with you.

teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

After Saul had secured his royal position over Israel, he fought against all their enemies on all sides– the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, the kings of Zobah, and the Philistines. In every direction that he turned he was victorious.

Say to Amasa,‘ Are you not my flesh and blood? God will punish me severely, if from this time on you are not the commander of my army in place of Joab!’”

The Spirit of God rushed upon Saul when he heard these words, and he became very angry.He took a pair of oxen and cut them up. Then he sent the pieces throughout the territory of Israel by the hand of messengers, who said,“ Whoever does not go out after Saul and after Samuel should expect this to be done to his oxen!” Then the terror of the LORD fell on the people, and they went out as one army.When Saul counted them at Bezek, the Israelites were 300,000 strong and the men of Judah numbered 30,000.They said to the messengers who had come,“ Here’s what you should say to the men of Jabesh Gilead:‘ Tomorrow deliverance will come to you when the sun is fully up.’” When the messengers went and told the men of Jabesh Gilead, they were happy.The men of Jabesh said,“ Tomorrow we will come out to you and you can do with us whatever you wish.”The next day Saul placed the people in three groups. They went to the Ammonite camp during the morning watch and struck them down until the hottest part of the day. The survivors scattered; no two of them remained together.Then the people said to Samuel,“ Who were the ones asking,‘ Will Saul reign over us?’ Hand over those men so we may execute them!”But Saul said,“ No one will be killed on this day. For today the LORD has given Israel a victory!”

Then all the people came and encouraged David to eat food while it was still day. But David took an oath saying,“ God will punish me severely if I taste bread or anything whatsoever before the sun sets!”

Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah with this warning,“ May the gods judge me severely if by this time tomorrow I do not take your life as you did theirs!”

God will severely punish David, if I leave alive until morning even one male from all those who belong to him!”

Ben Hadad sent another message to him,“ May the gods judge me severely if there is enough dirt left in Samaria for my soldiers to scoop up in their hands.”

And what you learned and received and heard and saw in me, do these things. And the God of peace will be with you.
