大卫逃离拉玛的纳约特，来见约拿单，说：“我做了什么？我的罪孽是什么？我在你父亲面前犯了什么罪，以致他要寻索我的性命呢？”

大衛逃離拉瑪的納約特，來見約拿單，說：「我做了什麼？我的罪孽是什麼？我在你父親面前犯了什麼罪，以致他要尋索我的性命呢？」

大衛自拉瑪之拿約遁、詣約拿單、言曰、我何所為、有何過惡、干何罪戾於爾父前、致索我命、

大闢遂遁、自拉馬之拿約、至約拿單所、告曰、我何所為、我有何罪、干於爾父、欲害我命。

Then David fled from Naioth at Ramah and went to Jonathan and asked,“ What have I done? What is my crime? How have I wronged your father, that he is trying to kill me?”

David was in Naioth at Ramah. He ran away from there to where Jonathan was. He asked him,“ What have I done? What crime have I committed? I haven’t done anything to harm your father. So why is he trying to kill me?”

Then David fled from Naioth in Ramah and came and said before Jonathan,“ What have I done? What is my guilt? And what is my sin before your father, that he seeks my life?”

David now fled from Naioth in Ramah and found Jonathan.“ What have I done?” he exclaimed.“ What is my crime? How have I offended your father that he is so determined to kill me?”

Then David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and he came and said to Jonathan,“ What have I done? What is my guilt? And what is my sin before your father, that he is seeking my life?”

Then David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and went and said to Jonathan,“ What have I done? What is my iniquity, and what is my sin before your father, that he seeks my life?”

And David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, What have I done? what is mine iniquity? and what is my sin before thy father, that he seeketh my life?

And David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, What have I done? what[ is] mine iniquity? and what[ is] my sin before thy father, that he seeketh my life?

David fled from Naioth in Ramah. He came to Jonathan and asked,“ What have I done? What is my offense? How have I sinned before your father? For he is seeking my life!”

David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan,“ What have I done? What is my iniquity? What is my sin before your father, that he seeks my life?”

then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,

When it was reported to Saul that David was at Naioth in Ramah,he sent agents to seize David. However, when they saw the group of prophets prophesying with Samuel leading them, the Spirit of God came on Saul’s agents, and they also started prophesying.When they reported to Saul, he sent other agents, and they also began prophesying. So Saul tried again and sent a third group of agents, and even they began prophesying.Then Saul himself went to Ramah. He came to the large cistern at Secu and asked,“ Where are Samuel and David?”“ At Naioth in Ramah,” someone said.So he went to Naioth in Ramah. The Spirit of God also came on him, and as he walked along, he prophesied until he entered Naioth in Ramah.Saul then removed his clothes and also prophesied before Samuel; he collapsed and lay naked all that day and all that night. That is why they say,“ Is Saul also among the prophets?”

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; he repaid me according to the cleanness of my hands.For I have kept the ways of the LORD and have not turned from my God to wickedness.Indeed, I let all his ordinances guide me and have not disregarded his statutes.I was blameless toward him and kept myself from my iniquity.So the LORD repaid me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

Blessed be the LORD, who has not let us be ripped apart by their teeth.We have escaped like a bird from the hunter’s net; the net is torn, and we have escaped.Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Indeed, this is our boast: The testimony of our conscience is that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you, with godly sincerity and purity, not by human wisdom but by God’s grace.

LORD my God, if I have done this, if there is injustice on my hands,if I have done harm to one at peace with me or have plundered my adversary without cause,may an enemy pursue and overtake me; may he trample me to the ground and leave my honor in the dust. Selah

and said to David,“ You are more righteous than I, for you have done what is good to me though I have done what is evil to you.

Look, my father! Look at the corner of your robe in my hand, for I cut it off, but I didn’t kill you. Recognize that I’ve committed no crime or rebellion. I haven’t sinned against you even though you are hunting me down to take my life.

Here I am. Bring charges against me before the LORD and his anointed: Whose ox or donkey have I taken? Who have I wronged or mistreated? Who gave me a bribe to overlook something? I will return it to you.”

David said to Saul,“ Why do you listen to the words of people who say,‘ Look, David intends to harm you’?

Saul went along one side of the mountain and David and his men went along the other side. Even though David was hurrying to get away from Saul, Saul and his men were closing in on David and his men to capture them.Then a messenger came to Saul saying,“ Come quickly, because the Philistines have raided the land!”So Saul broke off his pursuit of David and went to engage the Philistines. Therefore, that place was named the Rock of Separation.

Dear friends, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have confidence before God
