約伯為他的朋友祈禱。耶和華就使約伯從苦境轉回，並且耶和華賜給他的比他從前所有的加倍。約伯的弟兄、姊妹，和以先所認識的人都來見他，在他家裏一同吃飯；又論到耶和華所降與他的一切災禍，都為他悲傷安慰他。每人也送他一塊銀子和一個金環。這樣，耶和華後來賜福給約伯比先前更多。他有一萬四千羊，六千駱駝，一千對牛，一千母驢。

於是王高擡但以理，賞賜他許多上等禮物，派他管理巴比倫全省，又立他為總理，掌管巴比倫的一切哲士。

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽，神豈不是揀選了世上的貧窮人，叫他們在信上富足，並承受他所應許給那些愛他之人的國嗎？

我立大地根基的時候，你在哪裏呢？你若有聰明，只管說吧！你若曉得就說，是誰定地的尺度？是誰把準繩拉在其上？地的根基安置在何處？地的角石是誰安放的？

又使我們成為國民，作他父神的祭司。但願榮耀、權能歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

又叫他們成為國民，作祭司歸於神，在地上執掌王權。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「從前你雖然以自己為小，豈不是被立為以色列支派的元首嗎？耶和華膏你作以色列的王。

你可以掌管我的家；我的民都必聽從你的話。惟獨在寶座上我比你大。」

他把地建立在海上，安定在大水之上。

「現在，你要告訴我僕人大衛，說萬軍之耶和華如此說：『我從羊圈中將你召來，叫你不再跟從羊羣，立你作我民以色列的君。

將地立在根基上，使地永不動搖。

你起初立了地的根基；天也是你手所造的。

法老遂即差人去召約瑟，他們便急忙帶他出監，他就剃頭，刮臉，換衣裳，進到法老面前。

這是守望者所發的命，聖者所出的令，好叫世人知道至高者在人的國中掌權，要將國賜與誰就賜與誰，或立極卑微的人執掌國權。』

他不保護惡人的性命，卻為困苦人伸冤。他時常看顧義人，使他們和君王同坐寶座，永遠要被高舉。

這人是從監牢中出來作王，在他國中，生來原是貧窮的。

因這但以理有美好的靈性，所以顯然超乎其餘的總長和總督，王又想立他治理通國。

他用膀臂施展大能；那狂傲的人正心裏妄想就被他趕散了。他叫有權柄的失位，叫卑賤的升高；

得勝的，我要賜他在我寶座上與我同坐，就如我得了勝，在我父的寶座上與他同坐一般。

不再有黑夜；他們也不用燈光、日光，因為主神要光照他們。他們要作王，直到永永遠遠。

他是神榮耀所發的光輝，是神本體的真像，常用他權能的命令托住萬有。他洗淨了人的罪，就坐在高天至大者的右邊。

約伯就坐在爐灰中，拿瓦片刮身體。
