He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor.“ For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s; on them he has set the world.

約伯替他的朋友禱告，耶和華就恢復約伯原來的景況，還照約伯以前所有的一切加倍賜給他。約伯的眾兄弟姊妹和以前認識的人都來見他，在他家裡與他一同吃飯，又因耶和華降予他的一切災禍都對他表同情，安慰他，每人送他一塊銀子和一個金環。這樣，耶和華後來賜給約伯的福比先前更多：他有一萬四千隻羊、六千匹駱駝、一千對牛、一千頭母驢。

於是王提升但以理，賜他許多貴重的禮物，使他管理巴比倫全省，又立他為總長，管理巴比倫所有的智慧人。

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽：神不是揀選了在世上被認為貧窮的人嗎？這些人卻在信心上富足，而且是承受神的國的人。這國是神應許賜給愛他的人的。

我奠定大地根基的時候，你在哪裡呢？你若有聰明，就只管說吧。你一定曉得是誰定大地的尺度，是誰把準繩拉在大地之上？地的基礎奠在哪裡，地的角石是誰安放的？

又使我們成為國度，作他父神的祭司。願榮耀權能都歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們。

使他們成為我們神的國度和祭司，他們要在地上執掌王權。”

撒母耳說：“從前你雖然自以為微小，不是作了以色列眾支派的首領嗎？耶和華膏立了你作以色列的王，

你可以掌管我的家，我的人民都要聽從你的話；只有在王位上我比你大。”

因為他把地奠定在海上，使世界安定在眾水之上。

現在你要對我的僕人大衛這樣說：‘萬軍之耶和華這樣說：我把你從牧場中、從照顧羊群的工作中揀選出來，使你作我子民以色列的領袖，

你把大地堅立在根基上，使地永永遠遠不動搖。

你起初立了地的根基；天也是你手的工作。

法老於是派人去召約瑟。他們就急忙把約瑟從監裡帶出來。他剃了頭、刮了臉、換了衣服，就進去見法老。

這是守望者宣告的裁決，是聖者頒布的決定，好使世人都知道：至高者在世人的國中掌權，他喜歡把國賜給誰，就賜給誰，甚至立最卑微的人執掌國權。

他不容惡人生存，卻為困苦人主持公道。他的眼目時常看顧義人，他使他們與君王同坐寶座，他們永遠被高舉。

雖然他是從監獄出來，在自己的國中，又是出身貧寒，卻起來作王。

因為但以理裡面有美好的靈性，所以各方面都比其他的監察司和總督優勝；王有意立他治理全國。

他用膀臂施展大能，驅散心裡妄想的狂傲人。他使有權能的失位，叫卑微的升高，

得勝的，我必定賜他和我一同坐在我的寶座上，正像我得了勝和我父一同坐在他的寶座上一樣。

不再有黑夜了，他們也不需要燈光或日光了，因為主神要光照他們。他們要作王，直到永永遠遠。

他是神榮耀的光輝，是神本質的真象，用自己帶有能力的話掌管萬有；他作成了潔淨罪惡的事，就坐在高天至尊者的右邊。

約伯坐在灰燼中，拿瓦片刮自己。
