我親愛的弟兄姊妹，請聽我說，上帝不是揀選了窮人，使他們在信心上富足，並承受祂應許賜給那些愛祂之人的國度嗎？

「我立大地根基的時候，你在哪裡？你若那麼聰明，請告訴我。你可知道誰為大地定的尺寸？誰用準繩把它丈量？是什麼支撐大地的根基？誰為它安放的基石？

使我們成為祭司的國度來事奉祂的父上帝。願祂得到一切榮耀和權柄，一直到永永遠遠。阿們！

你又使他們成為上帝的國度和祭司，他們要在地上執掌王權。」

撒母耳說：「雖然你從前覺得自己微不足道，但現在卻做了以色列各支派的首領。耶和華膏立你做以色列的王。

我要派你管理我家，我的人民都要遵從你的命令，只有我權力比你大。」

祂把大地奠基於海中，建立在大水之上。

「現在你要告訴我的僕人大衛，萬軍之耶和華說，『你原本在草場牧羊，我召你來做我以色列子民的首領。

你奠立大地的根基，使它永不動搖。

太初你奠立大地的根基，親手創造諸天。

於是，法老派人去召約瑟，他們急忙釋放約瑟。約瑟剃頭刮臉，更換衣服，去見法老。

這是守望者的命令，是聖者的決定，要讓眾生知道至高者主宰世上萬國，祂要把國賜給誰就賜給誰，即使是最卑微的人。』

祂不容惡人活命，祂為窮苦人伸冤。祂時時看顧義人，使他們與君王同坐寶座，永遠受尊崇。

雖然這青年在本國出身貧寒，卻能從囚犯成為君王。

因為但以理有非凡的心智，遠超過其他總長和總督，王便考慮讓他治理全國。

祂伸出臂膀，施展大能，驅散心驕氣傲的人。祂使當權者失勢，叫謙卑的人升高。

得勝者可以和我一同坐在我的寶座上，正如我得勝後與我父一同坐在祂的寶座上一樣。

再沒有黑夜，也不需要燈光和陽光，因為主上帝必作他們的光。他們要執掌王權直到永永遠遠。

祂正是上帝榮耀的光輝，是上帝本體的真像。祂用自己充滿能力的話語維繫萬物。祂洗淨了世人的罪之後，便坐在天上至高上帝的右邊。
