生过七个孩子的母亲心力枯竭，奄奄一息。她羞愧难当，她的希望突然破灭，犹如白昼突然变成黑夜。我必使其余的人丧身在敌人刀下。这是耶和华说的。”

耶和华说：“不生育、未生养的妇人啊，要欢唱；未曾生产的女子啊，要高歌、欢呼；因为没有丈夫的比有丈夫的儿女更多。

祂使饥饿的得饱足，叫富足的空手而去。

毗尼娜见她不能生育，便常常羞辱她、气她。

因为圣经上说：“不生育、未生养的妇人啊，要快乐；未曾生产的女子啊，要高声欢呼，因为没有丈夫的比有丈夫的儿女更多。”

使她怀孕。她后来生了一个儿子，给孩子取名叫撒母耳，因为她说：“他是我向耶和华求来的。”

壮狮也会忍饥挨饿，但寻求耶和华的人什么福分都不缺。

“亚伯拉罕说，‘孩子啊！你要想想，你生前享福，而拉撒路受苦；如今他在这里得到安慰，而你受折磨。
