Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever.

「我將為自己興起一位忠實的祭司，他會照著我的心、我的靈行事；我將為他建造一個持久的家室，他必終生行在我受膏者的面前。

我將挺生忠藎之祭司、彼將循我心意而行、我必鞏固其家、彼必恆久行於我受膏者前、

我必挺生忠藎之祭司、彼循我心意而行、我必克昌厥後、使恆從我受膏者。

我將為己立一忠心之祭司、彼必循我心意而行、我為彼建立鞏固之家、必將永行於我所立受膏者前、

I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his priestly house, and they will minister before my anointed one always.

I will raise up for myself a faithful priest. He will do what my heart and mind want him to do. I will make his family line of priests very secure. They will always serve as priests to my anointed king.

And I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who shall do according to what is in my heart and in my mind. And I will build him a sure house, and he shall go in and out before my anointed forever.

“ Then I will raise up a faithful priest who will serve me and do what I desire. I will establish his family, and they will be priests to my anointed kings forever.

“‘ Then I will raise up a faithful priest for myself. He will do whatever is in my heart and mind. I will establish a lasting dynasty for him, and he will walk before my anointed one for all time.

But I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who will do according to what is in My heart and My soul; and I will build him an enduring house, and he will walk before My anointed always.

And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in my heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

“‘ Then I will raise up a faithful priest for Myself. He will do whatever is in My heart and mind. I will establish a lasting dynasty for him, and he will walk before My anointed one for all time.

And I will raise me up a faithful priest,[ that] shall do according to[ that] which[ is] in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

Then I will raise up for myself a faithful priest. He will do what is in my heart and soul. I will build for him a secure dynasty and he will serve my chosen one for all time.

For You, O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, have revealed this to Your servant, saying,‘ I will build you a house.’ Therefore Your servant has found it in his heart to pray this prayer to You.

since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel, and have caused you to rest from all your enemies. Also the Lord tells you that He will make you a house.

Please forgive the trespass of your maidservant. For the Lord will certainly make for my Lord an enduring house, because my Lord fights the battles of the Lord, and evil is not found in you throughout your days.

Then it shall be, if you heed all that I command you, walk in My ways, and do what is right in My sight, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as My servant David did, then I will be with you and build for you an enduring house, as I built for David, and will give Israel to you.

Great deliverance He gives to His king, And shows mercy to His anointed, To David and his descendants forevermore.

The king put Benaiah the son of Jehoiada in his place over the army, and the king put Zadok the priest in the place of Abiathar.

So Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king at Gihon; and they have gone up from there rejoicing, so that the city is in an uproar. This is the noise that you have heard.

But Zadok the priest, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, Nathan the prophet, Shimei, Rei, and the mighty men who belonged to David were not with Adonijah.

I will establish one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them— My servant David. He shall feed them and be their shepherd.

For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever.

Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,

Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Ahimaaz;Ahimaaz begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Johanan;Johanan begot Azariah( it was he who ministered as priest in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem);Azariah begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub;Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Shallum;Shallum begot Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begot Azariah;Azariah begot Seraiah, and Seraiah begot Jehozadak.Jehozadak went into captivity when the Lord carried Judah and Jerusalem into captivity by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

“ But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood,” says the Lord GOD.“ They shall enter My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge.

So they ate and drank before the Lord with great gladness on that day. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him before the Lord to be the leader, and Zadok to be priest.

Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

Here I am. Witness against me before the Lord and before His anointed: Whose ox have I taken, or whose donkey have I taken, or whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed, or from whose hand have I received any bribe with which to blind my eyes? I will restore it to you.”

and it shall be to him and his descendants after him a covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was zealous for his God, and made atonement for the children of Israel.’”

And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.
