“ Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the Lord is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed.

then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling- place, and forgive, and do, and render unto every man according to all his ways, whose heart thou knowest;( for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have ungodly wrought, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their lusts( and their mouth speaketh great swelling words), showing respect of persons for the sake of advantage.

And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto each one of you according to your works.

Your words have been stout against me, saith Jehovah. Yet ye say, What have we spoken against thee?

For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two- edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.

( Let me be weighed in an even balance, That God may know mine integrity);

And they say, Jehovah will not see, Neither will the God of Jacob consider.Consider, ye brutish among the people; And ye fools, when will ye be wise?He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?He that chastiseth the nations, shall not he correct, Even he that teacheth man knowledge?

The way of the just is uprightness: thou that art upright dost direct the path of the just.

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; But Jehovah weigheth the spirits.

If thou sayest, Behold, we knew not this; Doth not he that weigheth the hearts consider it? And he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? And shall not he render to every man according to his work?

Will not God search this out? For he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.

TEKEL; thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

Whom hast thou defied and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

I, Jehovah, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

But Jehovah said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him: for Jehovah seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but Jehovah looketh on the heart.

They prate, they speak arrogantly: All the workers of iniquity boast themselves.
