If one person sins against another, God may mediate for the offender; but if anyone sins against the Lord, who will intercede for them?” His sons, however, did not listen to their father’s rebuke, for it was the Lord’s will to put them to death.

If a person sins against someone else, God can help that sinner. But if anyone sins against the Lord, who can help them?” In spite of what their father Eli said, his sons didn’t pay any attention to his warning. That’s because the Lord had already decided to put them to death.

因為耶和華的意思是要使他們的心剛硬，來與以色列人作戰，好使他們全被殺滅，不蒙憐憫，反被除滅，正如耶和華所吩咐摩西的。

如果我們領受真理的知識以後仍故意犯罪，就不再有贖罪的祭物，

所以我向以利家起誓：『以利家的罪孽，就是獻祭物和供物，也永不得贖。』」

但那故意犯罪的人，無論是本地人是寄居的，褻瀆了耶和華，這人必從百姓中剪除。

背棄正路的，必受嚴刑；恨惡責備的，必致死亡。

我向你犯罪，惟獨得罪了你，在你眼前行了這惡，以致你責備的時候顯為公義，判斷的時候顯為清白。

先知與王說話的時候，王對他說：「難道我們立你作王的謀士嗎？你住口吧！為何要挨打呢？」先知就止住了，卻說：「我知道上帝已定意要消滅你，因為你行這事，不聽從我的勸戒。」

他們所以不能信，因為以賽亞又說：「主使他們瞎了眼，使他們硬了心，免得他們眼睛看見，他們心裏明白，回轉過來，我會醫治他們。」

因為只有一位上帝，在上帝和人之間也只有一位中保，是成為人的基督耶穌。

所以，凡靠着他進到上帝面前的人，他都能拯救到底，因為他長遠活着為他們祈求。

「人與人若有爭訟，要求審判，當宣判義人為義，惡人有罪的時候，惡人若該受責打，審判官就要叫他當着面，伏在地上，按他的罪照數責打。只能打四十下，不可加多；多過這數目就是在你眼中作賤你的弟兄了。

審判的時候不可看人的情面；無論大小，你們都要聽訟。不可因人而懼怕，因為審判是上帝的事。你們當中若有難斷的案件，可以呈到我這裏，讓我來聽訟。』

你本不喜愛祭物，若喜愛，我就獻上；燔祭你也不喜悅。

但希實本王西宏不肯讓我們從他那裏經過，因為耶和華－你的上帝使他性情頑梗，內心剛硬，為要把他交在你手中，像今日一樣。

「你城中若有難以判斷的案件，涉及流血，訴訟，或毆打等爭訟的事，你就要起來，上到那裏，耶和華－你上帝所選擇的地方，去見利未家的祭司和當時的審判官，求問他們，他們必將判決指示你。他們在耶和華所選擇的地方指示你的判決，你要執行，謹守遵行他們一切所教導你的。要按照所教導你的律法、所告訴你的典章去執行；他們指示你的判決，你不可偏離左右。若有人擅自行事，不聽從那侍立在耶和華－你上帝那裏事奉的祭司，或不聽從審判官，那人就要處死。這樣，你就把惡從以色列中除掉。
