先知與王言時、王曰、誰立爾為王之謀士、爾止哉、不然、爾必見撻、先知乃止、既而曰、爾行斯事、不聽我言、我知天主決意欲敗爾、○

彼眾不能信、因以賽亞復云、主使其目瞽心頑、免其目明心悟、悔改而我醫之、

蓋天主惟一、在天主世人之間、中保亦惟一、即降世為人之基督耶穌、

是以凡賴耶穌而至天主前者、耶穌能全救之、蓋彼恆存、為之祈禱、○

人有爭訟、就士師求審、士師聽訟、以義人為義、以惡人為惡、若惡人當受笞、則士師使伏於地、按其罪如數笞之於士師前、笞惟四十、勿踰其數、若踰數多笞、則爾輕賤同族、○

審鞫之時、勿以貌取人、聽訟勿分尊卑、不可畏人、蓋審鞫之事屬天主、如爾有難斷之事、則呈於我、而我聽之、

主不欲祭物、欲則我必獻之、火焚祭亦非主喜悅、

希實本王西宏不容我過其地、因主爾之天主使其心意頑梗剛愎、致付於爾手、有如今日之事、

如爾邑中有詞訟、或因流血、或因爭競、或因鬥傷、爾所難鞫者、則當起、往主爾天主所選之處、見祭司利未人、與當時之士師、請問於彼、彼必告爾如何判斷、彼在主所選之處諭爾之言、爾必遵之而行、凡彼所指示爾者、爾當謹守遵行、彼以法度教爾、示爾如何判斷、爾當循之而行、必遵所諭爾者、毋偏於左、毋偏於右、有人擅敢不聽從祭司、即侍立在彼以奉事主爾之天主者、或不聽從士師、其人必當治死、如是、除惡於以色列人中、
