人有訟事、就於士師、士師聽之、必直其義者、罪其惡者、惡人罪當受笞、士師使伏於前、如數笞之、笞數勿踰四十、若笞之過多、恐賤爾昆弟、○

鞫時、毋行偏視、無論貴賤、必聽其詞、不可畏人、蓋鞫事屬上帝也、事遇難斷、則呈我聽之、

爾不喜祭品、否則我必獻之、燔祭非爾所悅兮、

乃希實本王西宏、不容我過其境、蓋爾上帝耶和華使其心志頑梗、致付爾手、有如今日、

如爾邑中有訟事、為流血、為爭競、為鬥毆、爾所難鞫者、則當詣爾上帝耶和華所選之處、見利未人祭司、與在位之士師、而詢問之、彼必示爾如何判斷、在耶和華所選之處、凡其所示所教者、爾當遵行、彼所教之法律、所示之判斷、所諭之語言、爾必遵行、毋偏於左、毋偏於右、有人擅行、不從立於爾上帝耶和華前服役之祭司、或不從士師、其人必死、除惡於以色列中、
