If one person sins against another, God may mediate for the offender; but if anyone sins against the Lord, who will intercede for them?” His sons, however, did not listen to their father’s rebuke, for it was the Lord’s will to put them to death.

因為耶和華的意思是要使他們心裏剛硬，來與以色列人爭戰，好叫他們盡被殺滅，不蒙憐憫，正如耶和華所吩咐摩西的。

因為我們得知真道以後，若故意犯罪，贖罪的祭就再沒有了；

所以我向以利家起誓說：『以利家的罪孽，雖獻祭奉禮物，永不能得贖去。』」

但那擅敢行事的，無論是本地人是寄居的，他褻瀆了耶和華，必從民中剪除。

捨棄正路的，必受嚴刑；恨惡責備的，必致死亡。

我向你犯罪，惟獨得罪了你；在你眼前行了這惡，以致你責備我的時候顯為公義，判斷我的時候顯為清正。

先知與王說話的時候，王對他說：「誰立你作王的謀士呢？你住口吧！為何找打呢？」先知就止住了，又說：「你行這事，不聽從我的勸戒，我知道神定意要滅你。」

他們所以不能信，因為以賽亞又說：主叫他們瞎了眼，硬了心，免得他們眼睛看見，心裏明白，回轉過來，我就醫治他們。

因為只有一位神，在神和人中間，只有一位中保，乃是降世為人的基督耶穌；

凡靠着他進到神面前的人，他都能拯救到底；因為他是長遠活着，替他們祈求。

「人若有爭訟，來聽審判，審判官就要定義人有理，定惡人有罪。惡人若該受責打，審判官就要叫他當面伏在地上，按着他的罪照數責打。只可打他四十下，不可過數；若過數，便是輕賤你的弟兄了。

審判的時候，不可看人的外貌；聽訟不可分貴賤，不可懼怕人，因為審判是屬乎神的。若有難斷的案件，可以呈到我這裏，我就判斷。』

你本不喜愛祭物，若喜愛，我就獻上；燔祭，你也不喜悅。

但希實本王西宏不容我們從他那裏經過；因為耶和華－你的神使他心中剛硬，性情頑梗，為要將他交在你手中，像今日一樣。

「你城中若起了爭訟的事，或因流血，或因爭競，或因毆打，是你難斷的案件，你就當起來，往耶和華－你神所選擇的地方去見祭司利未人，並當時的審判官，求問他們，他們必將判語指示你。他們在耶和華所選擇的地方指示你的判語，你必照着他們所指教你的一切話謹守遵行。要按他們所指教你的律法，照他們所斷定的去行；他們所指示你的判語，你不可偏離左右。若有人擅敢不聽從那侍立在耶和華－你神面前的祭司，或不聽從審判官，那人就必治死；這樣，便將那惡從以色列中除掉。
