人若得罪人，有士师审判他；人若得罪耶和华，谁能为他祈求呢？”然而他们还是不听父亲的话，因为耶和华想要杀他们。

人若得罪人，有上帝可以裁决；人若得罪耶和华，谁能为他代求呢？”然而他们还是不听父亲的话，因为耶和华想要他们死。

If one person sins against another, God may mediate for the offender; but if anyone sins against the Lord, who will intercede for them?” His sons, however, did not listen to their father’s rebuke, for it was the Lord’s will to put them to death.

If a person sins against someone else, God can help that sinner. But if anyone sins against the Lord, who can help them?” In spite of what their father Eli said, his sons didn’t pay any attention to his warning. That’s because the Lord had already decided to put them to death.

因为这是出于耶和华的旨意，他使他们心里刚硬，要与以色列人交战，好把他们完全毁灭，使他们不蒙怜悯，却要被消灭，正如耶和华吩咐摩西的。

如果我们领受了真理的知识以后，还是故意犯罪，就再没有留下赎罪的祭品了；

所以我向以利家起了誓：‘以利家的罪孽永远不能用祭物或供物来买赎。’”

但那胆大妄为的人，无论是本地人或是寄居的，亵渎了耶和华，那人总要从民间剪除。

离弃正路的必受严厉的管教；恨恶责备的必致死亡。

我得罪了你，唯独得罪你；我行了你眼中看为恶的事，因此，你宣判的时候，显为公义；你审判的时候，显为清正。

先知向王讲话的时候，王对他说：“我们立了你作王的谋士吗？住口吧！你要挨打吗？”先知就住口，可是又说：“我知道神已定意消灭你，因为你作了这事，又不听从我的劝戒。”

他们不能相信，因为以赛亚又说：“神使他们瞎了眼，硬了心，免得他们眼睛看见，心里明白而回转过来；我就医好他们。”

因为神只有一位，在神和人中间也只有一位中保，就是降世为人的基督耶稣。

因此，那些靠着他进到神面前的人，他都能拯救到底；因为他长远活着，为他们代求。

“如果人与人之间有争讼的事，就上法庭去；审判官审判他们的时候，要定义人有理，定恶人有罪；如果有罪的人应受责打，审判官就要叫他伏下，当面按着他的罪，照着数目责打他。只可打他四十下，不可再多；恐怕你多打了他，过了这数目，你的兄弟就在你眼前受辱了。

审判的时候，不可偏袒人；无论贵贱尊卑，都要一样地听讼；不可怕人的情面，因为审判是属于神的；如果你们遇见难断的案件，可以呈到我这里来，让我审断。’

因为你不喜爱祭物；我就是献上燔祭，你也不喜悦。

但是希实本王西宏不肯让我们从他那里经过，因为耶和华我们的神使他的心意顽固，使他的心刚硬，为要把他交在你的手里，像今日一样。

“在你的城里如果有什么争讼的事：或是流血，或是诉讼，或是殴打，是你很难处决的案件，你就要起来，上到耶和华你的神选择的地方，去见利未支派的祭司和当时的审判官，询问他们，他们就必指示你们怎样判断这案件。你要照着他们从耶和华选择的那地方，向你指示的话去行；他们指教你的，你都要谨守遵行。你要按着他们指教你的律法，和照着他们告诉你的判断去行；他们告诉你的话，你不可偏左或偏右。如果有人擅自行事，不听从祭司，就是侍立在那里事奉耶和华你的神的，或是不听从审判官，那人就必须处死；这样，你就可以把这恶从以色列中肃清了。
