原来耶和华使他们心里刚硬，跟以色列人作战，好让他们遭受无情的毁灭，正如耶和华对摩西的吩咐。

因为我们知道了真理以后，若仍然故意犯罪，就再没有赎罪祭了，

所以，我向以利家起誓说，‘靠祭物或礼物绝不能赎去以利家的罪恶。’”

但不管是以色列人还是外族人，若故意妄为，亵渎了耶和华，都要被铲除，

背离正道，必遭严惩；厌恶责备，必致死亡。

我犯罪得罪了你，唯独得罪了你，做了你看为邪恶的事，所以你对我的责备是正当的，你对我的审判是公正的。

先知的话还没有说完，王就打断他，说：“住口！谁立你做王的谋士了？你要自取灭亡吗？”先知停了一下，又说：“我知道上帝已定意要毁灭你，因为你做了这事，不听我的忠告。”

接着，以赛亚又说出他们不能信的缘故：“主使他们眼瞎、心硬，免得他们眼睛看见，心里明白，回心转意，就得到我的医治。”

上帝只有一位，在上帝和人类之间只有一位中保，就是降世为人的基督耶稣。

所以祂能拯救那些靠着祂来到上帝面前的人，直到永远，因为祂永远活着，为他们祈求。

“如果发生纠纷，双方告上法庭，审判官要判明是非。如果有罪的一方被判受鞭打，审判官要命令他当场伏在地上，按罪行轻重受刑。最多可以鞭打他四十下。如果超过四十下，你们就是在公开羞辱自己的同胞。

不可偏私，不分贵贱，不惧情面，因为判决来自上帝。如果案件太难，可以交给我处理。

你不喜欢祭物，否则我会献上，你也不喜爱燔祭。

希实本王西宏却拒绝我们的请求，因为我们的上帝耶和华使他顽固不化，好让我们击败他，正如今日的情形。

“如果案件复杂，难以决断，如谋杀、诉讼、人身伤害等，就要把案件带到你们的上帝耶和华选定的地方，交给当值的利未祭司和审判官去审理。你们必须执行他们在耶和华所选择的地方宣告的判决，你们要谨慎遵行他们的一切指示。他们教导你们律法，宣布判决后，你们必须完全执行，丝毫不可偏离。如果有人不肯接受事奉你们上帝耶和华的祭司和审判官的判决，就必须处死他。如此，你们便从以色列除掉了罪恶，
