以利就對他們說：“你們為甚麼作這些事？我親自從眾民那裡聽見了你們的惡行。

就对他们说：“你们为什么做这样的事？我从百姓口中听说了有关你们的恶行。

以利就对他们说：“你们为什么作这些事？我亲自从众民那里听见了你们的恶行。

就对他们说：“你们为什么做这样的事呢？我从这民众都听说了你们的恶行。

他就對他們說：「你們為何行這樣的事呢？我從這眾百姓聽見你們的惡行。

就對他們說：「你們為什麼做這樣的事？我從百姓口中聽說了有關你們的惡行。

他就對他們說：『你們為甚麼行這樣的壞事、像我親自從這眾民所聽見的呢？

就對他們說：「你們為什麼做這樣的事呢？我從這民眾都聽說了你們的惡行。

謂之曰、我由民眾聞爾惡行、胡為作此、

謂之曰、我聞於民、爾行不端、爾作此曷故。

謂之曰、爾何為行此事、我由此民眾聞爾惡行、

So he said to them,“ Why do you do such things? I hear from all the people about these wicked deeds of yours.

So Eli said to his sons,“ Why are you doing these things? All the people are telling me about the evil things you are doing.

And he said to them,“ Why do you do such things? For I hear of your evil dealings from all these people.

Eli said to them,“ I have been hearing reports from all the people about the wicked things you are doing. Why do you keep sinning?

He said to them,“ Why are you doing these things? I have heard about your evil actions from all these people.

So he said to them,“ Why are you doing such things as these, the evil things that I hear from all these people?

So he said to them,“ Why do you do such things? For I hear of your evil dealings from all the people.

And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings from all this people.

He said to them,“ Why are you doing these things? I have heard about your evil actions from all these people.

And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people.

He said to them,“ Why do you behave in this way? For I hear about these evil things from all these people.

He said to them,“ Why do you do such things? For I hear of your evil dealings from all these people.

耶和華說：‘他們行了可憎的事，本應覺得羞愧，可是他們一點羞愧都沒有，恬不知恥。因此他們必仆倒在倒下的人中間；我懲罰他們的時候，他們必倒下來。

他仆倒在地，聽見有聲音對他說：“掃羅，掃羅！你為甚麼迫害我？”

所以甘霖停止，春雨不降；你還是一副妓女的面孔（“面孔”原文作“額”），不顧羞恥。

他們的結局是滅亡，他們的神是自己的肚腹，他們以自己的羞辱為榮耀，所思想的都是地上的事。

他的父親從來沒有責難他說：“你為甚麼這樣作呢？”他的容貌也很英俊，他是在押沙龍之後生的。

他們面上的表情指證他們的不對；他們像所多瑪一般宣揚自己的罪惡，並不隱瞞；他們有禍了，因為他們自招禍害。

“各位，為甚麼這樣作呢？我們也是人，性情和你們一樣，我們傳福音給你們，正是要你們遠離這些虛妄的事，歸向永活的神，就是那創造天、地、海和其中萬物的神。
