他用銅做洗濯盆和盆座，是用會幕門前伺候的婦人之鏡子做的。

這二祭司待百姓是這樣的規矩：凡有人獻祭，正煮肉的時候，祭司的僕人就來，手拿三齒的叉子，將叉子往罐裏，或鼎裏，或釜裏，或鍋裏一插，插上來的肉，祭司都取了去。凡上到示羅的以色列人，他們都是這樣看待。又在未燒脂油以前，祭司的僕人就來對獻祭的人說：「將肉給祭司，叫他烤吧。他不要煮過的，要生的。」獻祭的人若說：「必須先燒脂油，然後你可以隨意取肉。」僕人就說：「你立時給我，不然我便搶去。」如此，這二少年人的罪在耶和華面前甚重了，因為他們藐視耶和華的祭物。

其中的祭司強解我的律法，褻瀆我的聖物，不分別聖的和俗的，也不使人分辨潔淨的和不潔淨的，又遮眼不顧我的安息日；我也在他們中間被褻慢。

撒母耳年紀老邁，就立他兒子作以色列的士師。

你們偷盜，殺害，姦淫，起假誓，向巴力燒香，並隨從素不認識的別神，且來到這稱為我名下的殿，在我面前敬拜；又說：『我們可以自由了。』你們這樣的舉動是要行那些可憎的事嗎？

將來民如何，祭司也必如何；我必因他們所行的懲罰他們，照他們所做的報應他們。他們吃，卻不得飽；行淫，而不得立後；因為他們離棄耶和華，不遵他的命。姦淫和酒，並新酒，奪去人的心。
