Before they returned home, Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife and say,“ May the Lord give you other children to take the place of this one she gave to the Lord.”

Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife:“ May the LORD give you children by this woman in place of the one she has given to the LORD.” Then they would go home.

Then Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, and say,“ May the Lord give you children from this woman in place of the one she requested of the Lord.” And they went to their own home.

And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, Jehovah give thee seed of this woman for the petition which was asked of Jehovah. And they went unto their own home.

Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife:“ May the Lord give you children by this woman in place of the one she has given to the Lord.” Then they would go home.

And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.

Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife saying,“ May the LORD raise up for you descendants from this woman to replace the one that she dedicated to the LORD.” Then they would go to their home.

Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said,“ May Yahweh give you offspring from this woman for the petition which was asked of Yahweh.” Then they went to their own home.

For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him.Therefore I also have lent him to the Lord; as long as he lives he shall be lent to the Lord.” So they worshiped the Lord there.

Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother,“ Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against

The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”

“ Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying,‘ This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:“ The Lord bless you and keep you;The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”’“ So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

Then she made a vow and said,“ O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.”

And all the people who were at the gate, and the elders, said,“ We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman who is coming to your house like Rachel and Leah, the two who built the house of Israel; and may you prosper in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem.

And he came near and kissed him; and he smelled the smell of his clothing, and blessed him and said:“ Surely, the smell of my son Is like the smell of a field Which the Lord has blessed.Therefore may God give you Of the dew of heaven, Of the fatness of the earth, And plenty of grain and wine.Let peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you. Be master over your brethren, And let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, And blessed be those who bless you!”
