Now the sons of Eli were corrupt; they did not know the Lord.

Eli’s sons were scoundrels; they had no regard for the Lord.

Eli’s sons were good for nothing. They didn’t honor the Lord.

Now the sons of Eli were worthless men. They did not know the Lord.

Now the sons of Eli were scoundrels who had no respect for the Lord

Eli’s sons were wicked men; they did not respect the LORD

Now the sons of Eli were useless men; they did not know the Lord.

Now the sons of Eli were base men; they knew not Jehovah.

Eli’s sons were wicked men; they had no regard for the Lord

Now the sons of Eli[ were] sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.

The sons of Eli were wicked men. They did not recognize the LORD’s authority.

Now the sons of Eli were wicked men. They didn’t know Yahweh.

The priests did not say,‘ Where is the Lord?’ And those who handle the law did not know Me; The rulers also transgressed against Me; The prophets prophesied by Baal, And walked after things that do not profit.

because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

When all that generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation arose after them who did not know the Lord nor the work which He had done for Israel.

And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

Your dwelling place is in the midst of deceit; Through deceit they refuse to know Me,” says the Lord.

Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say,‘ I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word.

Now therefore, know and consider what you will do, for harm is determined against our master and against all his household. For he is such a scoundrel that one cannot speak to him.”

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

As they were enjoying themselves, suddenly certain men of the city, perverted men, surrounded the house and beat on the door. They spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying,“ Bring out the man who came to your house, that we may know him carnally!”

And two men, scoundrels, came in and sat before him; and the scoundrels witnessed against him, against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying,“ Naboth has blasphemed God and the king!” Then they took him outside the city and stoned him with stones, so that he died.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.“ The more they increased, The more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame.They eat up the sin of My people; They set their heart on their iniquity.And it shall be: like people, like priest. So I will punish them for their ways, And reward them for their deeds.

‘ Corrupt men have gone out from among you and enticed the inhabitants of their city, saying,“ Let us go and serve other gods”’— which you have not known—

And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.

But some rebels said,“ How can this man save us?” So they despised him, and brought him no presents. But he held his peace.

“ And now, O priests, this commandment is for you.If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name,” Says the Lord of hosts,“ I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart.“ Behold, I will rebuke your descendants And spread refuse on your faces, The refuse of your solemn feasts; And one will take you away with it.Then you shall know that I have sent this commandment to you, That My covenant with Levi may continue,” Says the Lord of hosts.“ My covenant was with him, one of life and peace, And I gave them to him that he might fear Me; So he feared Me And was reverent before My name.The law of truth was in his mouth, And injustice was not found on his lips. He walked with Me in peace and equity, And turned many away from iniquity.“ For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, And people should seek the law from his mouth; For he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.But you have departed from the way; You have caused many to stumble at the law. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi,” Says the Lord of hosts.“ Therefore I also have made you contemptible and base Before all the people, Because you have not kept My ways But have shown partiality in the law.”

and seat two men, scoundrels, before him to bear witness against him, saying,“ You have blasphemed God and the king.” Then take him out, and stone him, that he may die.

He judged the cause of the poor and needy; Then it was well. Was not this knowing Me?” says the Lord.
