亦脫其衣、於撒母耳前亦感神而言、終晝終夜裸體而臥、故人有諺語曰、掃羅亦列於先知中乎、

He stripped off his garments, and he too prophesied in Samuel’s presence. He lay naked all that day and all that night. This is why people say,“ Is Saul also among the prophets?”

There he took off his clothes. Then he also prophesied in front of Samuel. He lay there without his clothes on all that day and night. That’s why people say,“ Is Saul also one of the prophets?”

And he too stripped off his clothes, and he too prophesied before Samuel and lay naked all that day and all that night. Thus it is said,“ Is Saul also among the prophets?”

He tore off his clothes and lay naked on the ground all day and all night, prophesying in the presence of Samuel. The people who were watching exclaimed,“ What? Is even Saul a prophet?”

Saul then removed his clothes and also prophesied before Samuel; he collapsed and lay naked all that day and all that night. That is why they say,“ Is Saul also among the prophets?”

那時，耶和華藉著亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞說：“你解開你腰間的麻布，脫去你腳上的鞋。”以賽亞就這樣作了，露體赤足行走。

大衛回去要給自己的家人祝福。掃羅的女兒米甲出來迎見大衛，說：“以色列王今天多麼榮耀啊！他今天竟在眾臣僕的婢女眼前，赤身露體，就像一個卑賤的人無恥地露體一樣。”

為此我要痛哭哀號，赤膊光腳而行；又要哀號如豺狼，悲鳴像鴕鳥。

掃羅到了那山，有一班先知迎面而來。神的靈大大感動他，他就在他們中間受感說話。所有以前認識掃羅的人，看見他和他們一起受感說話，就彼此說：“基士的兒子怎麼啦！掃羅也列在先知中間嗎？”那裡有一個人回答：“這些人的父親是誰呢？”因此，後來有句俗語說：“掃羅也列在先知中間嗎？”

得聽神的話語、得見全能者的異象、身體仆倒而眼目睜開的人說：

聽見的人都很驚奇，說：“在耶路撒冷殘害求告這名的，不是這個人嗎？他來這裡不是要緝拿他們交給祭司長嗎？”

大衛束著細麻布的以弗得，在耶和華面前極力跳舞。
