扫罗到了那山，有一班先知遇见他，神的灵大大感动他，他就在先知中受感说话。

人心筹算自己的道路；惟耶和华指引他的脚步。

我若有先知讲道之能，也明白各样的奥秘，各样的知识，而且有全备的信，叫我能够移山，却没有爱，我就算不得什么。

耶和华将话传给巴兰，又说：“你回到巴勒那里，要如此如此说。”

王的心在耶和华手中，好像陇沟的水随意流转。

他这话不是出于自己，是因他本年作大祭司，所以预言耶稣将要替这一国死；

巴兰举目，看见以色列人照着支派居住。神的灵就临到他身上，
