掃羅和他的僕人來到上帝的山，遇見了一群先知。上帝的靈降在掃羅身上，他就和他們一起說起預言來。

就派人去捉拿他。掃羅的人看到一群先知在說預言，撒母耳在當中帶領他們。上帝的靈也臨到掃羅的人，他們也說起預言來。

人心中籌畫自己的道路，但耶和華決定他的腳步。

在審判那天，很多人會對我說，『主啊，主啊，我們不是奉你的名傳道，奉你的名趕鬼，奉你的名行了許多神蹟嗎？』

即使我能作先知講道，又明白各樣的奧祕，而且學問淵博，甚至有移開山嶺的信心，如果沒有愛，我仍然算不了什麼。

耶和華告訴他當說的話，命他回去轉告巴勒。

耶和華掌管君王的心，易如支配壟溝的流水。

其實這句話不是出於他自己，只因那年他是大祭司，上帝藉著他預言耶穌將要替猶太民族死。

舉目四望，看見以色列人按支派紮營。上帝的靈降在他身上，
