so he sent men to capture him. But when they saw a group of prophets prophesying, with Samuel standing there as their leader, the Spirit of God came on Saul’s men, and they also prophesied.

So Saul sent some men to capture him. When they got there, they saw a group of prophets who were prophesying. Samuel was standing there as their leader. Then the Spirit of God came on Saul’s men. So they also began to prophesy.

Then Saul sent messengers to take David, and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as head over them, the Spirit of God came upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.

法利赛人听见众人为耶稣这样纷纷议论，祭司长和法利赛人就打发差役去捉拿他。

扫罗到了那山，有一班先知遇见他，神的灵大大感动他，他就在先知中受感说话。

“以后，我要将我的灵浇灌凡有血气的。你们的儿女要说预言；你们的老年人要做异梦，少年人要见异象。

扫罗打发人去捉拿大卫，米甲说：“他病了。”

扫罗打发人到大卫的房屋那里窥探他，要等到天亮杀他。大卫的妻米甲对他说：“你今夜若不逃命，明日你要被杀。”

此后你到神的山，在那里有非利士人的防兵。你到了城的时候，必遇见一班先知从邱坛下来，前面有鼓瑟的、击鼓的、吹笛的、弹琴的，他们都受感说话。耶和华的灵必大大感动你，你就与他们一同受感说话；你要变为新人。

若都作先知讲道，偶然有不信的，或是不通方言的人进来，就被众人劝醒，被众人审明，他心里的隐情显露出来，就必将脸伏地，敬拜神，说：“神真是在你们中间了。”

差役回到祭司长和法利赛人那里。他们对差役说：“你们为什么没有带他来呢？”差役回答说：“从来没有像他这样说话的！”法利赛人说：“你们也受了迷惑吗？官长或是法利赛人岂有信他的呢？但这些不明白律法的百姓是被咒诅的！”内中有尼哥底母，就是从前去见耶稣的，对他们说：“不先听本人的口供，不知道他所做的事，难道我们的律法还定他的罪吗？”他们回答说：“你也是出于加利利吗？你且去查考，就可知道加利利没有出过先知。”

但作先知讲道的，是对人说，要造就、安慰、劝勉人。

耶和华在云中降临，对摩西说话，把降与他身上的灵分赐那七十个长老。灵停在他们身上的时候，他们就受感说话，以后却没有再说。但有两个人仍在营里，一个名叫伊利达，一个名叫米达。他们本是在那些被录的人中，却没有到会幕那里去。灵停在他们身上，他们就在营里说预言。
