任何智慧、聪明、谋略都不能敌挡耶和华。

他们白天遇见黑暗，中午摸索如在夜间。他拯救穷乏人脱离他们口中的刀剑，脱离强暴人的手；

为攻击你而制成的武器，都没有效用；在审判的时候兴起来与你争辩的舌头，你都必定它为有罪。这是耶和华众仆人的产业，他们的义是从我而得；这是耶和华说的。

耶稣却从他们中间走过，就离去了。

如果有人在这城迫害你们，就逃到别的城去。我实在告诉你们，你们还没有走遍以色列的各城，人子就来到了。

如果他们因为认识我们的主、救主耶稣基督，可以脱离世上的污秽，后来又在其中被缠住、受制伏，他们末了的景况，就比先前的更不好了。既然认识了义路，竟又背弃传给他们的圣诫命，对他们来说，倒不如不认识好得多了。他们的情形，正像俗语所说的：“狗转过来，又吃自己所吐的；猪洗净了，又到污泥中去打滚。”

他们又要逮捕耶稣，他却从他们的手中逃脱了。

义人虽有许多苦难，但耶和华搭救他脱离这一切。

“有一个污灵离开了一个人，走遍干旱之地，寻找栖身的地方，却没有找到。他就说：‘我要回到我从前离开了的那房子。’到了之后，看见里面空着，已经打扫干净，粉饰好了，他就去带了另外七个比自己更恶的污灵来，一齐进去住在那里；那人后来的情况，比以前更坏了。这邪恶的世代也会这样。”

他救我脱离我的强敌，脱离那些恨我的人，因为他们比我强盛。

“以法莲啊！我要怎样待你呢？犹大啊，我要怎样待你呢？你们的爱心像早晨的云雾；又像瞬即消逝的朝露。

扫罗听了约拿单的话，就起誓，说：“我指着永活的耶和华起誓，大卫必不会被杀死。”

我们像雀鸟从捕鸟的人的网罗里逃脱；网罗破裂，我们就逃脱了。
