Then Saul instructed his servants,“ Tell David secretly,‘ The king is pleased with you, and all his servants like you. So now become the king’s son-in-law.”

扫罗吩咐臣仆说：“你们暗中对大卫说：‘王喜悦你，王的臣仆也都喜爱你，所以你当作王的女婿。’”

扫罗吩咐臣仆：“你们暗中对大卫说：‘看哪，王喜欢你，王的臣仆也都爱戴你，现在你就作王的女婿吧。’”

扫罗吩咐臣仆：“你们暗中对大卫说：‘看哪，王喜欢你，王的臣仆也都爱戴你，现在你就作王的女婿吧。’”

他又吩咐臣仆，说：“你们私底下告诉大卫，说王很欣赏他，群臣都爱戴他，劝他做王的女婿。”

扫罗吩咐他的臣仆：“你们要私下对大卫说：‘王喜欢你，他的臣仆也都爱你，现在你要作王的女婿！’”

扫罗吩咐他的臣仆：“你们要私下对大卫说：‘看哪，王喜欢你，他所有的臣仆们也爱你，如今你就作王的女婿吧。’”

掃羅吩咐臣僕說：「你們暗中對大衛說：『王喜悅你，王的臣僕也都喜愛你，所以你當作王的女婿。』」

他又吩咐臣僕，說：「你們私底下告訴大衛，說王很欣賞他，群臣都愛戴他，勸他做王的女婿。」

掃羅吩咐臣僕說：『你們要靜悄悄告訴大衛說：「看哪，王喜歡你，王的臣僕也都愛你；如今你做王的女婿吧。」

掃羅吩咐他的臣僕：「你們要私下對大衛說：『看哪，王喜歡你，他所有的臣僕們也愛你，如今你就作王的女婿吧。』」

Then Saul ordered his attendants:“ Speak to David privately and say,‘ Look, the king likes you, and his attendants all love you; now become his son- in- law.’”

Then Saul gave an order to his attendants. He said,“ Speak to David in private. Tell him,‘ The king likes you. All his attendants love you. So become his son- in- law.’ ”

And Saul commanded his servants,“ Speak to David in private and say,‘ Behold, the king has delight in you, and all his servants love you. Now then become the king’s son-in-law.’”

Then Saul told his men to say to David,“ The king really likes you, and so do we. Why don’t you accept the king’s offer and become his son in law?”

Saul then ordered his servants,“ Speak to David in private and tell him,‘ Look, the king is pleased with you, and all his servants love you. Therefore, you should become the king’s son-in-law.’”

Then Saul commanded his servants,“ Speak to David in secret, saying,‘ Behold, the king delights in you, and all his servants love you; now then, become the king’s son in law.’ ”

And Saul commanded his servants,“ Communicate with David secretly, and say,‘ Look, the king has delight in you, and all his servants love you. Now therefore, become the king’s son-in-law.’”

And Saul commanded his servants, saying, Commune with David secretly, and say, Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the king’s son- in- law.

Saul then ordered his servants,“ Speak to David in private and tell him,‘ Look, the king is pleased with you, and all his servants love you. Therefore, you should become the king’s son-in-law.’”

And Saul commanded his servants,[ saying], Commune with David secretly, and say, Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the king’s son in law.

Saul commanded his servants,“ Talk with David secretly, and say,‘ Behold, the king has delight in you, and all his servants love you. Now therefore be the king’s son- in- law.’”

Absalom instructed his servants,“ Look! When Amnon is drunk and I say to you,‘ Strike Amnon down,’ kill him then and there. Don’t fear! Is it not I who have given you these instructions? Be strong and courageous!”So Absalom’s servants did to Amnon exactly what Absalom had instructed. Then all the king’s sons got up; each one rode away on his mule and fled.

An evil man is rebellious to the core. He does not fear God,for he is too proud to recognize and give up his sin.The words he speaks are sinful and deceitful; he does not care about doing what is wise and right.

His words are as smooth as butter, but he harbors animosity in his heart. His words seem softer than oil, but they are really like sharp swords.

If a ruler listens to lies, all his ministers will be wicked.
