For Saul thought,“ I will give her to him so that she may become a trap for him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” Therefore Saul said to David,“ For a second time you may become my son in law, today.”

扫罗心里说：“我将这女儿给大卫，作他的网罗，好藉非利士人的手害他。”所以扫罗对大卫说：“你今日可以第二次作我的女婿。”

扫罗心里说：“我把这女儿嫁给大卫，作他的圈套，好藉非利士人的手害他。”所以扫罗第二次对大卫说：“你今日可以作我的女婿。”

他心里想：“我把这个女儿给大卫，让他中圈套，好借非利士人的手杀掉他。”于是，他对大卫说：“你现在还有一次机会做我的女婿。”

心里想：“我要把米甲给大卫，利用米甲作他的陷阱，好让非利士人的手害他。”于是扫罗对大卫说：“你今天可以第二次作我的女婿。”

他想：“我要把米甲嫁给大卫，使她成为大卫的陷阱，好让非利士人的手对付他。”于是扫罗对大卫说：“今天你有第二次机会作我的女婿。”

掃羅心裏說：「我將這女兒給大衛，作他的網羅，好藉非利士人的手害他。」所以掃羅對大衛說：「你今日可以第二次作我的女婿。」

掃羅心裏說：『我要將這女兒給大衛、去餌誘他，好使非利士人的手能夠害他。』於是掃羅對大衛說：『你今天就可以由第二個女兒來做我的女婿了。』

他想：「我要把米甲嫁給大衛，使她成為大衛的陷阱，好讓非利士人的手對付他。」於是掃羅對大衛說：「今天你有第二次機會作我的女婿。」

曰、我妻以女、以為機檻、使非利士人加手害之、遂謂大衛曰、今日復為我壻、

自謂許妻以女、若設坎阱、使非利士人擊之。告大闢曰、予今必於二女中以其一妻爾。

掃羅自謂、以女予之、如設網羅、使非利士人害之、遂謂大衛曰、我之二女、今必以其一妻爾、

“ I will give her to him,” he thought,“ so that she may be a snare to him and so that the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” So Saul said to David,“ Now you have a second opportunity to become my son-in-law.”

“ I’ll give her to David to be his wife,” Saul said to himself.“ Then maybe she’ll trap him. And maybe the Philistines will strike him down.” So Saul said to David,“ Now you have a second chance to become my son- in- law.”

Saul thought,“ Let me give her to him, that she may be a snare for him and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” Therefore Saul said to David a second time,“ You shall now be my son-in-law.”

“ Here’s another chance to see him killed by the Philistines!” Saul said to himself. But to David he said,“ Today you have a second chance to become my son in law!”

“ I’ll give her to him,” Saul thought.“ She’ll be a trap for him, and the hand of the Philistines will be against him.” So Saul said to David a second time,“ You can now be my son-in-law.”

So Saul said,“ I will give her to him, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” Therefore Saul said to David a second time,“ You shall be my son-in-law today.”

And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son- in- law a second time.

“ I’ll give her to him,” Saul thought.“ She’ll be a trap for him, and the hand of the Philistines will be against him.” So Saul said to David a second time,“ You can now be my son-in-law.”

And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son in law in[ the one of] the twain.

Saul said,“ I will give her to him so that she may become a snare to him and the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” So Saul said to David,“ Today is the second time for you to become my son-in-law.”

Saul said, I will give her to him, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Therefore Saul said to David,“ You shall today be my son- in- law a second time.”

Then Saul said to David,“ Here is my older daughter Merab; I will give her to you as a wife, only be a valiant man for me and fight the Lord’s battles.” For Saul thought,“ My hand shall not be against him, but let the hand of the Philistines be against him.”

Their tongue is a deadly arrow; It speaks deceit; With his mouth one speaks peace to his neighbor, But inwardly he sets an ambush for him.

When his servants told David these words, it pleased David to become the king’s son in law. So before the time had expired,

Then Pharaoh’s servants said to him,“ How long shall this man be a snare to us? Let the people go, so that they may serve the Lord their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt is destroyed?”

One who hates disguises it with his lips, But he harbors deceit in his heart.When he speaks graciously, do not believe him, Because there are seven abominations in his heart.Though his hatred covers itself with deception, His wickedness will be revealed in the assembly.

Behold, an evil person is pregnant with injustice, And he conceives harm and gives birth to lies.He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made.His harm will return on his own head, And his violence will descend on the top of his own head.

For wicked people are found among My people, They watch like fowlers lying in wait; They set a trap, They catch people.

A man who flatters his neighbor Is spreading a net for his steps.

Then Saul sent messengers to David’s house to watch him, in order to put him to death in the morning. But Michal, David’s wife, informed him, saying,“ If you do not save your life tonight, tomorrow you will be put to death!”So Michal let David down through a window, and he went and fled, and escaped.

Those who seek my life lay snares for me; And those who seek to injure me have threatened destruction, And they plot deception all day long.
