Then an evil spirit from the LORD came upon Saul. He was sitting in his house with his spear in his hand, while David was playing the lyre.Saul tried to nail David to the wall with the spear, but he escaped from Saul’s presence and the spear drove into the wall. David escaped quickly that night.

But he passed through the crowd and went on his way.

Wrath is cruel and anger is overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy?

Evil men set an ambush for the godly and try to kill them.But the LORD does not surrender the godly, or allow them to be condemned in a court of law.

Then they attempted again to seize him, but he escaped their clutches.
