All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

The Lord doesn’t rescue people by using a sword or a spear. And everyone here will know it. The battle belongs to the Lord. He will hand all of you over to us.”

and that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hand.”

And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!”

and this whole assembly will know that it is not by sword or by spear that the LORD saves, for the battle is the LORD’s. He will hand you over to us.”

因為我倚靠的不是我的弓；我的刀劍並不能使我得勝。但你卻拯救了我們脫離敵人，使恨我們的人羞愧。

猶大家我卻要憐憫；我必憑着我永恆主他們的上帝來拯救他們；我不靠着弓、不靠着刀或爭戰、不靠着馬匹或馬兵去拯救他們。』

約拿單對拿軍器的青年護兵說：『來，我們過去、到這些沒有受割禮的人的駐防營那裏去吧；或者永恆主能為我們作一件事，因為永恆主拯救人、是不受人多或人少所牽制的。』

他應聲告訴我說：『這是永恆主的話、向所羅巴伯說的：萬軍之永恆主說；不是依靠權勢，不是倚靠能力，乃是倚靠我的靈。

不；在這一切事上、我們藉着那愛了我們的、倒是得勝有餘了。

既然如此，對這些事我們可怎麼說呢？上帝若為我們，誰能敵我們呢？

亞撒向永恆主他的上帝呼求說：『永恆主啊，在強盛者與軟弱無力者之間，除了你以外是沒有幫助者的。永恆主我們的上帝啊，求你幫助我們；因為我們依靠着你，我們奉你的名去對付這蜂擁軍兵。永恆主啊，你才是我們的上帝；不要讓人有把握勝過你哦。』

他說：『猶大眾人、耶路撒冷的居民和約沙法王啊，你們請留心聽；永恆主對你們這麼說：「你們不要因這許多蜂擁軍兵而懼怕驚慌，因為爭戰不是在於你們，乃是在於上帝。明天你們要下去迎敵；他們會從洗斯坡上來；你們要在耶魯伊勒曠野東面的谿谷口去對付他們。猶大和耶路撒冷人哪，這次你們不必爭戰，只要各守己位、站着，看永恆主為你們所取得的勝利。」你們不要懼怕，不要驚慌；明天要出去迎敵；永恆主和你們同在。』

君王不能因軍兵多而得勝；勇士不能因力氣大而得救援；靠馬得勝是妄想；王並不能因軍兵多而蒙搭救。

他的政權宏大，他的泰平無窮，在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平公義堅立而支持它，從今時直到永遠。萬軍之永恆主的熱心必成就這事。

沒有智慧、沒有明達、沒有謀略能敵得過永恆主。馬儘管豫備好了、以待戰爭之日，但得勝總是在乎永恆主。

萬軍之永恆主和我們同在；雅各的上帝是我們的高壘。（細拉）
