亦使此會咸知耶和華施行拯救、非以劍以槍、蓋戰事屬於耶和華、彼必付爾於我手、

亦使斯大會知耶和華救人、非藉劍戟、其使人獲勝者、乃任意以行、將付爾於我手。

亦使此大會知主使人獲勝、非藉刀與槍、蓋戰之勝敗在乎主、原文作戰事屬乎主將付爾於我儕手、

All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

The Lord doesn’t rescue people by using a sword or a spear. And everyone here will know it. The battle belongs to the Lord. He will hand all of you over to us.”

and that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hand.”

And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!”

and this whole assembly will know that it is not by sword or by spear that the LORD saves, for the battle is the LORD’s. He will hand you over to us.”

and that this entire assembly may know that the Lord does not save by sword or by spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will hand you over to us!”

因為，我必不靠我的弓；我的刀也不能使我得勝。惟你救了我們脫離敵人，使恨我們的人羞愧。

我卻要憐憫猶大家，使他們靠耶和華－他們的神得救，不使他們靠弓、刀、爭戰、馬匹，與馬兵得救。」

約拿單對拿兵器的少年人說：「我們不如過到未受割禮人的防營那裏去，或者耶和華為我們施展能力；因為耶和華使人得勝，不在乎人多人少。」

他對我說：「這是耶和華指示所羅巴伯的。萬軍之耶和華說：不是倚靠勢力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的靈方能成事。

然而，靠着愛我們的主，在這一切的事上已經得勝有餘了。

既是這樣，還有甚麼說的呢？神若幫助我們，誰能敵擋我們呢？

亞撒呼求耶和華－他的神說：「耶和華啊，惟有你能幫助軟弱的，勝過強盛的。耶和華－我們的神啊，求你幫助我們；因為我們仰賴你，奉你的名來攻擊這大軍。耶和華啊，你是我們的神，不要容人勝過你。」

他說：「猶大眾人、耶路撒冷的居民，和約沙法王，你們請聽。耶和華對你們如此說：『不要因這大軍恐懼驚惶；因為勝敗不在乎你們，乃在乎神。明日你們要下去迎敵，他們是從洗斯坡上來，你們必在耶魯伊勒曠野前的谷口遇見他們。猶大和耶路撒冷人哪，這次你們不要爭戰，要擺陣站着，看耶和華為你們施行拯救。不要恐懼，也不要驚惶。明日當出去迎敵，因為耶和華與你們同在。』」

君王不能因兵多得勝；勇士不能因力大得救。靠馬得救是枉然的；馬也不能因力大救人。

他的政權與平安必加增無窮。他必在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平公義使國堅定穩固，從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。

沒有人能以智慧、聰明、謀略敵擋耶和華。馬是為打仗之日預備的；得勝乃在乎耶和華。

萬軍之耶和華與我們同在；雅各的神是我們的避難所！
