亦使此會咸知耶和華施行拯救、非以劍以槍、蓋戰事屬於耶和華、彼必付爾於我手、

亦使斯大會知耶和華救人、非藉劍戟、其使人獲勝者、乃任意以行、將付爾於我手。

亦使此大會知主使人獲勝、非藉刀與槍、蓋戰之勝敗在乎主、原文作戰事屬乎主將付爾於我儕手、

All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

The Lord doesn’t rescue people by using a sword or a spear. And everyone here will know it. The battle belongs to the Lord. He will hand all of you over to us.”

and that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hand.”

And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!”

and this whole assembly will know that it is not by sword or by spear that the LORD saves, for the battle is the LORD’s. He will hand you over to us.”

因為我不是倚靠我的弓，我的刀劍也不能使我得勝。但你使我們勝過了我們的敵人，使憎恨我們的人都羞愧。

“但我要憐恤猶大家，使他們靠耶和華他們的神得救。我要拯救他們，並不是靠弓、靠刀、靠戰爭，也不是靠戰馬、靠騎兵。”

約拿單對替他拿武器的僕人說：“來！我們過到這些未受割禮的人的駐軍那裡去，也許耶和華會為我們動工，因為不論人多或人少，都不能妨礙耶和華施行拯救。”

他對我說：“這是耶和華對所羅巴伯所說的話：‘不是倚靠權勢，不是倚靠能力，而是倚靠我的靈。’這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

但靠著愛我們的那一位，我們在這一切事上就得勝有餘了。

既是這樣，我們對這一切還有甚麼話說呢？神若這樣為我們，誰能敵對我們呢？

亞撒呼求耶和華他的神說：“耶和華啊，強弱懸殊，除你以外沒有別的幫助。耶和華我們的神啊，求你幫助我們。因為我們倚靠你，奉你的名去對抗這大軍。耶和華啊，你是我們的神，不要讓人勝過你。”

他就說：“全猶大的人、耶路撒冷的居民和約沙法王啊，你們要留意！耶和華這樣對你們說：‘你們不要因這大軍懼怕和驚慌，因為戰爭的勝負不是在於你們，而是在於神。明天你們要下去攻擊他們，他們會從洗斯的斜坡上來，你們必在耶魯伊勒曠野東面的谷口遇見他們。猶大人和耶路撒冷人哪，這次你們不必出戰，只要穩守陣地，站立不動，看耶和華為你們施行的拯救。’你們不要懼怕，也不要驚慌；明天要出去攻擊他們，耶和華必和你們同在。”

君王不是因兵多得勝，勇士不是因力大得救。想靠馬得勝是枉然的；馬雖然力大，也不能救人。

他的政權與平安必無窮無盡地增加，他在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平和公義使國堅立穩固，從現在直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成全這事。

任何智慧、聰明、謀略都不能敵擋耶和華。馬是為打仗之日預備的，勝利卻在於耶和華。

萬軍之耶和華與我們同在；雅各的神是我們的保障。（細拉）
