This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.

求你在天上你的居所垂聽，照着外邦人向你所求的一切而行，使地上萬民都認識你的名，敬畏你，像你的百姓以色列一樣，又使他們知道我所建造的是稱為你名下的殿。

現在我降旨，我所統轄全國的人民，都要在但以理的上帝面前戰兢畏懼。因為他是活的上帝，永遠長存，他的國度永不敗壞，他的權柄永存無極！他庇護，搭救，在天上地下施行神蹟奇事，救了但以理脫離獅子的口。」

你的屍首必給空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸作食物，卻無人鬨趕。

非利士人又對大衛說：「來吧！我要把你的肉給空中的飛鳥和田野的走獸。」

你們要休息，要知道我是上帝！我必在列國中受尊崇，在全地也受尊崇。

然而，我讓你存活，是為了要使你看見我的大能，並要使我的名傳遍全地。

耶和華－我們的上帝啊，現在求你救我們脫離亞述王的手，使地上萬國都知道惟有你是耶和華。」

到了獻晚祭的時候，先知以利亞近前來，說：「耶和華－亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的上帝啊，求你今日使人知道你是以色列的上帝，我是你的僕人，我遵照你的話做這一切事。求你應允我，耶和華啊，應允我，使這百姓知道你－耶和華是上帝，是你叫他們回心轉意的。」

王對但以理說：「你既能講明這奧祕，你們的上帝誠然是萬神之神、萬王之主，是奧祕的啟示者。」

現在我降旨，無論何方、何國、何族，凡有人毀謗沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌的上帝，他必被凌遲，他的房屋必成糞堆，因為沒有別神能像這樣施行拯救。」

耶和華－你的上帝必將他們交給你，大大擾亂他們，直到他們被除滅。

屍首在哪裏，鷹也會聚在哪裏。」

我又看見一位天使站在太陽中，向天空一切的飛鳥大聲喊着說：「你們聚集來赴上帝的大宴席，為要吃君王的肉、將軍的肉、壯士的肉、馬和騎士的肉、一切自主的和為奴的，以及尊貴的和卑賤的肉。」

那裏的百姓是亞衲族人，又高又壯，是你所知道的；你也聽說過：『誰能在亞衲族人面前站立得住呢？』你今日應當知道，耶和華－你的上帝在你前面渡過去，如同吞噬的火，要除滅他們，並要在你面前將他們制伏，使你可以趕出他們，速速消滅他們，正如耶和華向你所說的。

當耶和華－你的上帝把他們交給你，你擊殺他們的時候，你要完全消滅他們，不可與他們立約，也不可憐惜他們。

你未曾把我交在仇敵手裏，你使我的腳站在寬闊的地方。

野地的走獸，你們都來吞吃吧！林中的野獸，你們也來吞吃！

萬民聽見就戰抖；疼痛抓住非利士的居民。那時，以東的族長驚惶，摩押的英雄被戰兢抓住，迦南所有的居民都融化。

耶和華對約書亞說：「不要怕他們，因為我已將他們交在你手裏，他們沒有一人能在你面前站立得住。」
