驕傲在敗壞以先，內心高傲在跌倒之前。

現在你與我主亞述王打賭，我給你兩千匹馬，看你能否派得出騎士來騎牠們。若不然，怎能使我主臣僕中最小的一個軍官轉臉而逃呢？你難道要倚靠埃及的戰車和騎兵嗎？

他說：「他們若為求和出來，要活捉他們，若為打仗出來，也要活捉他們。」
