Let our lord command his servants here to search for someone who can play the lyre. He will play when the evil spirit from God comes on you, and you will feel better.”

Let our lord now command your servants who are before you to seek out a man who is skillful in playing the lyre, and when the harmful spirit from God is upon you, he will play it, and you will be well.”

Let us find a good musician to play the harp whenever the tormenting spirit troubles you. He will play soothing music, and you will soon be well again.”

Let our lord command your servants here in your presence to look for someone who knows how to play the lyre. Whenever the evil spirit from God comes on you, that person can play the lyre, and you will feel better.”

May our lord now command your servants who are before you. Have them search for a man who is a skillful musician on the harp; and it shall come about whenever the evil spirit from God is upon you, that he shall play the harp with his hand, and you will become well.”

从耶和华那里来的祸害之灵又临到扫罗，那时他坐在宫殿里，手里拿着长矛，而大卫正在手弹竖琴。

大卫来到扫罗那里，侍立在他面前。扫罗非常喜爱他，他就作了替扫罗拿兵器的人。扫罗派人到耶西那里说：“请让大卫留在我面前侍立，因为他在我眼前蒙了恩。”每当从神那里来的祸害之灵临到扫罗时，大卫都会拿起竖琴用手弹奏，扫罗就会心里宽畅、感觉舒服，那个灵也从他身上离开了。

第二天，从神那里来的祸害之灵大大临到扫罗，他在宫殿中说预言。大卫一如往日手弹竖琴，扫罗手里拿着长矛，

约瑟侍立在埃及王法老面前的时候，年三十岁。约瑟从法老面前出去，遍行埃及全地。

“此后你要去神的山，那里有非利士的驻军。你到那城的时候，会遇见一队先知正从高所下来，他们都在说预言；在他们前面有弹里拉琴的、击鼓的、吹笛的、弹竖琴的。
