Then Saul said to the Kenites,“ Go, depart, get down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them. For you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

謂基尼人曰、離亞瑪力人而去、免爾為我同滅、蓋以色列人出埃及時、爾善待之、基尼人遂離之而去、

告基尼人曰、在昔我族出自埃及、爾待之良厚、故今勸爾速與亞馬力人相離、恐爾亦為我所滅。基尼人遂離之而去。

Then he said to the Kenites,“ Go away, leave the Amalekites so that I do not destroy you along with them; for you showed kindness to all the Israelites when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites moved away from the Amalekites.

Then Saul said to the Kenites,“ You were kind to all the Israelites when they came up out of Egypt. Get away from the Amalekites. Then I won’t have to destroy you along with them.” So the Kenites moved away from the Amalekites.

Then Saul said to the Kenites,“ Go, depart; go down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them. For you showed kindness to all the people of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

Saul sent this warning to the Kenites:“ Move away from where the Amalekites live, or you will die with them. For you showed kindness to all the people of Israel when they came up from Egypt.” So the Kenites packed up and left.

He warned the Kenites,“ Since you showed kindness to all the Israelites when they came out of Egypt, go on and leave! Get away from the Amalekites, or I’ll sweep you away with them.” So the Kenites withdrew from the Amalekites.

But Saul said to the Kenites,“ Go, get away, go down from among the Amalekites, so that I do not destroy you along with them; for you showed kindness to all the sons of Israel when they went up from Egypt.” So the Kenites got away from among the Amalekites.

And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them; for ye showed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

He warned the Kenites,“ Since you showed kindness to all the Israelites when they came out of Egypt, go on and leave! Get away from the Amalekites, or I’ll sweep you away with them.” So the Kenites withdrew from the Amalekites.

And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

Saul said to the Kenites,“ Go on and leave! Go down from among the Amalekites! Otherwise I will sweep you away with them! After all, you were kind to all the Israelites when they came up from Egypt.” So the Kenites withdrew from among the Amalekites.

Saul said to the Kenites,“ Go, depart, go down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them; for you showed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

Now the children of the Kenite, Moses’ father-in-law, went up from the City of Palms with the children of Judah into the Wilderness of Judah, which lies in the South near Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people.

Now Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law,“ We are setting out for the place of which the Lord said,‘ I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well; for the Lord has promised good things to Israel.”And he said to him,“ I will not go, but I will depart to my own land and to my relatives.”So Moses said,“ Please do not leave, inasmuch as you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes.And it shall be, if you go with us— indeed it shall be— that whatever good the Lord will do to us, the same we will do to you.”

Listen now to my voice; I will give you counsel, and God will be with you: Stand before God for the people, so that you may bring the difficulties to God.

Then Jethro rejoiced for all the good which the Lord had done for Israel, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.And Jethro said,“ Blessed be the Lord, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of Pharaoh, and who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.

Then Achish would say,“ Where have you made a raid today?” And David would say,“ Against the southern area of Judah, or against the southern area of the Jerahmeelites, or against the southern area of the Kenites.”

Then he looked on the Kenites, and he took up his oracle and said:“ Firm is your dwelling place, And your nest is set in the rock;Nevertheless Kain shall be burned. How long until Asshur carries you away captive?”

Now Heber the Kenite, of the children of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, had separated himself from the Kenites and pitched his tent near the terebinth tree at Zaanaim, which is beside Kedesh.

And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying,“ Be saved from this perverse generation.”

“ Most blessed among women is Jael, The wife of Heber the Kenite; Blessed is she among women in tents.

And he spoke to the congregation, saying,“ Depart now from the tents of these wicked men! Touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins.”So they got away from around the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram; and Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the door of their tents, with their wives, their sons, and their little children.

And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez were the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and the Suchathites. These were the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.

Then all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they said,“ Lest the earth swallow us up also!”

Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding.

Therefore“ Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”

The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all.

Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

Then the men said to Lot,“ Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city— take them out of this place!For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.”So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said,“ Get up, get out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying,“ Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.”And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife’s hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.

The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain;
