Then Saul said to the Kenites,“ Go, depart; go down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them. For you showed kindness to all the people of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

Saul sent this warning to the Kenites:“ Move away from where the Amalekites live, or you will die with them. For you showed kindness to all the people of Israel when they came up from Egypt.” So the Kenites packed up and left.

But Saul said to the Kenites,“ Go, get away, go down from among the Amalekites, so that I do not destroy you along with them; for you showed kindness to all the sons of Israel when they went up from Egypt.” So the Kenites got away from among the Amalekites.

With many other words he testified and strongly urged them, saying,“ Be saved from this corrupt generation!”

Most blessed of women is Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite; she is most blessed among tent-dwelling women.

He warned the community,“ Get away now from the tents of these wicked men. Then the angels said to Lot,“ Do you have anyone else here: a son-in-law, your sons and daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away in the punishment of the city.”But he hesitated. Because of the LORD’s compassion for him, the men grabbed his hand, his wife’s hand, and the hands of his two daughters. They brought him out and left him outside the city.
