Until the day Samuel died, he did not go to see Saul again, though Samuel mourned for him. And the Lord regretted that he had made Saul king over Israel.

“ I regret that I made Saul king, for he has turned away from following Me and has not carried out My instructions.” So Samuel became angry and cried out to the Lord all night.

Saul then removed his clothes and also prophesied before Samuel; he collapsed and lay naked all that day and all that night. That is why they say,“ Is Saul also among the prophets?”

the Lord regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

For I have often told you, and now say again with tears, that many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.

My eyes pour out streams of tears because people do not follow Your instruction.

If my head were a spring of water, my eyes a fountain of tears, I would weep day and night over the slain of my dear people.If only I had a traveler’s lodging place in the wilderness, I would abandon my people and depart from them, for they are all adulterers, a solemn assembly of treacherous people.
