撒母耳說：「你的刀劍怎樣使女人喪子，你的母親也必怎樣在女人中喪子。」於是撒母耳在吉甲，在耶和華面前把亞甲砍碎。

撒母耳曰、爾之刃使婦無子、則爾之母、於婦中亦必無子、遂在吉甲、於耶和華前、斫亞甲而碎之、

撒母耳曰、爾以刃使眾人之母絶其嗣、故爾之母亦必喪其子。撒母耳在吉甲、於耶和華前、殺亞甲而剖其體。

撒母耳曰、爾以刃殺人、使為母之婦喪子、爾母於眾婦中、亦如是喪子、撒母耳在吉甲、於主前殺亞甲而剖分其屍、

But Samuel said,“ As your sword has made women childless, so will your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel put Agag to death before the Lord at Gilgal.

But Samuel said,“ Your sword has killed the children of other women. So the child of your mother will be killed.” Samuel put Agag to death at Gilgal in front of the Lord.

And Samuel said,“ As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel hacked Agag to pieces before the Lord in Gilgal.

But Samuel said,“ As your sword has killed the sons of many mothers, now your mother will be childless.” And Samuel cut Agag to pieces before the Lord at Gilgal.

Samuel declared: As your sword has made women childless, so your mother will be childless among women. Then he hacked Agag to pieces before the LORD at Gilgal.

But Samuel said,“ As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel cut Agag to pieces before the Lord at Gilgal.

But Samuel said,“ As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel hacked Agag in pieces before the Lord in Gilgal.

And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before Jehovah in Gilgal.

Samuel declared: As your sword has made women childless, so your mother will be childless among women. Then he hacked Agag to pieces before the Lord at Gilgal.

And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

Samuel said,“ Just as your sword left women childless, so your mother will be the most bereaved among women!” Then Samuel hacked Agag to pieces there in Gilgal before the LORD.

Samuel said,“ As your sword has made women childless, so your mother will be childless among women!” Then Samuel cut Agag in pieces before Yahweh in Gilgal.

Then Adoni-Bezek said,“ Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off have picked up scraps under my table. Now God has paid me back for what I did to them.” They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there. (niv)

“ Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind. (niv)

For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. (niv)

As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. (niv)

because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. (niv)

Then the Amalekites and the Canaanites who lived in that hill country came down and attacked them and beat them down all the way to Hormah. (niv)

Give back to her as she has given; pay her back double for what she has done. Pour her a double portion from her own cup. (niv)

When Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, saw this, he left the assembly, took a spear in his handand followed the Israelite into the tent. He drove the spear into both of them, right through the Israelite man and into the woman’s stomach. Then the plague against the Israelites was stopped; (niv)

“ A curse on anyone who is lax in doing the Lord’s work! A curse on anyone who keeps their sword from bloodshed! (niv)

for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.” (niv)

Then Elijah commanded them,“ Seize the prophets of Baal. Don’t let anyone get away!” They seized them, and Elijah had them brought down to the Kishon Valley and slaughtered there. (niv)

The sword of the Lord is bathed in blood, it is covered with fat— the blood of lambs and goats, fat from the kidneys of rams. For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah and a great slaughter in the land of Edom. (niv)
