撒母耳曰、爾之刃使婦無子、則爾之母、於婦中亦必無子、遂在吉甲、於耶和華前、斫亞甲而碎之、

撒母耳曰、爾以刃使眾人之母絶其嗣、故爾之母亦必喪其子。撒母耳在吉甲、於耶和華前、殺亞甲而剖其體。

撒母耳曰、爾以刃殺人、使為母之婦喪子、爾母於眾婦中、亦如是喪子、撒母耳在吉甲、於主前殺亞甲而剖分其屍、

But Samuel said,“ As your sword has made women childless, so will your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel put Agag to death before the Lord at Gilgal.

But Samuel said,“ Your sword has killed the children of other women. So the child of your mother will be killed.” Samuel put Agag to death at Gilgal in front of the Lord.

And Samuel said,“ As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel hacked Agag to pieces before the Lord in Gilgal.

Samuel declared: As your sword has made women childless, so your mother will be childless among women. Then he hacked Agag to pieces before the LORD at Gilgal.

But Samuel said,“ As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel cut Agag to pieces before the Lord at Gilgal.

And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before Jehovah in Gilgal.

Samuel declared: As your sword has made women childless, so your mother will be childless among women. Then he hacked Agag to pieces before the Lord at Gilgal.

And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

Samuel said,“ Just as your sword left women childless, so your mother will be the most bereaved among women!” Then Samuel hacked Agag to pieces there in Gilgal before the LORD.

Samuel said,“ As your sword has made women childless, so your mother will be childless among women!” Then Samuel cut Agag in pieces before Yahweh in Gilgal.

Adoni bezek said,“ I once had seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off, eating scraps from under my table. Now God has paid me back for what I did to them.” They took him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

If anyone takes a human life, that person’s life will also be taken by human hands. For God made human beings in his own image.

For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.

As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he dropped his hand, the Amalekites gained the advantage.

There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you.

Then the Amalekites and the Canaanites who lived in those hills came down and attacked them and chased them back as far as Hormah.

Cursed are those who refuse to do the Lord’s work, who hold back their swords from shedding blood!

Since they shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, you have given them blood to drink. It is their just reward.”

Then Elijah commanded,“ Seize all the prophets of Baal. Don’t let a single one escape!” So the people seized them all, and Elijah took them down to the Kishon Valley and killed them there.

The sword of the Lord is drenched with blood and covered with fat— with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of rams prepared for sacrifice. Yes, the Lord will offer a sacrifice in the city of Bozrah. He will make a mighty slaughter in Edom.
