巴兰看见了亚玛力，就作歌，说：“亚玛力原是列国之首，他的结局却是灭亡。”

只是在耶和华你的神赐给你作产业的这些国民的城市里，凡有气息的，连一个你也不可让他活着；只要照着耶和华你的神吩咐你的，把赫人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，完全灭绝；免得他们教导你们学习一切可憎的事，就是他们对自己的神所行的事，以致你们得罪耶和华你们的神。

又用刀击杀了祭司城挪伯，无论男女，孩童或吃奶的婴儿，牛驴或羊，都用刀杀尽。

这城要完全毁灭，城和城中的一切都归耶和华；只有妓女喇合，和所有与她在家中的都可以存活，因为她收藏了我们派去的使者。不过你们要谨慎，不可取那当毁灭的物，恐怕你们贪心，取了那当毁灭的物，就使以色列营成为当毁灭的，使以色列营遭遇灾祸。可是，所有的金银和铜铁的器皿，都要归耶和华为圣，存入耶和华的库房中。”于是人民呼喊，祭司也吹角。人民听见角声的时候，就大声呼喊，城墙就塌陷了；于是，人民冲入城中，人人向前，把城攻取。他们把城中的一切，无论男女老幼、牛羊和驴，都用刀杀尽。

现在你们要把所有的男孩都杀了，也要杀死所有与男人发生过关系的妇人。

耶和华神又对亚当说：“因为你听从了你妻子的话，吃了我吩咐你不可吃的那树上的果子；地就必因你的缘故受咒诅；你必终生劳苦，才能从地里得吃的。地要给你长出荆棘和蒺藜来；你也要吃田间的蔬菜；

因为他们的祖宗犯了罪孽，你们要为他的子孙预备屠杀之处；不要让他们兴起来，占有地土，在世上布满城镇。”万军之耶和华说：“我必兴起攻击他们，把巴比伦的名号、所剩余的人，以及后裔子孙，都一同剪除。”这是耶和华说的。

你就要用刀剑把那城里的居民杀掉，把那城和城里的一切，以及牲畜，都用刀剑完全毁灭。并且把从城里掠夺的一切战利品，都要收集在那城的广场上，用火把城和在城里掠夺的一切战利品焚烧，献给耶和华你的神；那城就要永远成为废墟，不可再建造。

不可跪拜它们，也不可事奉它们，因为我耶和华你们的神是忌邪的神；恨恶我的，我必追讨他们的罪，从父亲到儿子，直到三四代。

“一切永属耶和华的圣物，就是人永献给耶和华的物，无论是人或是牲畜，或是他承受作产业的田地，都不可以变卖，也不可以赎回；一切永献之物都是归耶和华为至圣的。如果有人永献牲畜作永属耶和华的圣物，就不可赎回；必须把它杀死。

因为被造的万物服在虚空之下，不是自己愿意这样，而是由于使它屈服的那一位；被造的万物盼望自己得着释放，脱离败坏的奴役，得着神儿女荣耀的自由。我们知道被造的万物直到现在都一同在痛苦呻吟。
