撒母耳曰。爾之同儔、較爾尤善、爾為以色列王、自今以後耶和華將絕爾國祚、以畀同儔。

Samuel said to him,“ The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to one of your neighbors— to one better than you.

主必循其託我所言者而行、由爾手奪國、以賜他人、即大衛也、緣爾不遵主命、不循主之烈怒以滅亞瑪力人、故今日主待爾若此、

今爾國不永、主已得一人、合乎其心、命為己民之君、因爾不守主所諭爾之命、

遂遣人召之來、其面赤色、雙目清秀、身材俊美、主曰、此人是也、起而膏之、

我以大力巨能、創造大地、與地上人民牲畜、我以地賜人、惟我所悅、今我以此諸國、賜我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、亦以田野之百獸賜之、為其使役、

主使人窮乏、使人富有、使人卑微、使人崇貴、舉貧窮者於塵埃、升匱乏者於糞壤、使坐於君長間、使得顯位、蓋大地之基屬主、以世界立於其上、

此由守者所定、由聖者所決、使天下人知至上者、主掌人間之國、隨意以國賜人、亦能以人間卑微者立為國主、

眾必逐爾不與人偕居、使與野獸同居、食草若牛、如此歷七期、使爾知至上者、主掌人間之國、隨意以國賜人、
