撒母耳说：“耶和华喜悦燔祭和祭物，难道与喜悦人听从耶和华的话等同吗？看哪，听从胜过献祭，听命胜过公绵羊的脂油；

撒母耳说：“耶和华喜爱燔祭和祭物，岂如喜爱人听从他的话呢？看哪，听命胜于献祭，顺从胜于公羊的脂肪。

撒母耳说：“耶和华喜爱燔祭和祭物，岂如喜爱人听从他的话呢？看哪，听命胜于献祭，顺从胜于公羊的脂肪。

撒母耳说：“耶和华喜欢燔祭和其他祭物，还是喜欢人们听从祂的话？顺服胜于献祭，听从耶和华胜过向祂献上公羊的脂肪。

撒母耳說：『永恆主喜愛燔祭和平安祭，哪如喜愛人之聽從永恆主的聲音呢？看哪，聽從勝於獻祭，留心聽、勝於公綿羊的脂肪。

撒母耳說：「耶和華喜悅燔祭和祭物，難道與喜悅人聽從耶和華的話等同嗎？看哪，聽從勝過獻祭，聽命勝過公綿羊的脂油；

撒母耳曰、耶和華豈喜燔祭及他祭、如喜聽其言乎、夫順服愈於祭祀、聽從愈於羊脂、

撒母耳曰、耶和華豈以燔祭禮物為喜、不以聽從其命為喜乎。夫聽命較獻祭尤善、遵言較羊脂愈美。

撒母耳曰、主豈悅火焚祭平安祭、不悅人聽從主命乎、聽命勝於獻祭、順從勝於牡羊脂、

But Samuel replied:“ Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.

But Samuel replied,“ What pleases the Lord more? Burnt offerings and sacrifices, or obeying the Lord? It is better to obey than to offer a sacrifice. It is better to do what he says than to offer the fat of rams.

And Samuel said,“ Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.

But Samuel replied,“ What is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.

Then Samuel said: Does the LORD take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? Look: to obey is better than sacrifice, to pay attention is better than the fat of rams.

Samuel said,“ Does the Lord have as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than a sacrifice, And to pay attention is better than the fat of rams.

So Samuel said:“ Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.

And Samuel said, Hath Jehovah as great delight in burnt- offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Jehovah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

Then Samuel said: Does the Lord take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? Look: to obey is better than sacrifice, to pay attention is better than the fat of rams.

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD[ as great] delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey[ is] better than sacrifice,[ and] to hearken than the fat of rams.

Then Samuel said,“ Does the LORD take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as he does in obedience? Certainly, obedience is better than sacrifice; paying attention is better than the fat of rams.

Samuel said,“ Has Yahweh as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying Yahweh’s voice? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.

你所喜悦的不是祭物，否则我就会献上；燔祭也不是你所悦纳的。神所要的祭物，就是破碎的灵；神哪，破碎、痛悔的心，你必不轻视！

实行公义和公正，比献祭更蒙耶和华悦纳。

以全心、全智、全力来爱神，并且要爱邻如己，这是比所有的燔祭和各种祭祀都重要的。”

你们去学‘我要的是怜悯，而不是祭祀’这话是什么意思吧！我来不是要召唤义人，而是要召唤罪人。”

祭物和供物不是你所喜悦的，燔祭和赎罪祭不是你所要的；你开通了我的耳朵，那时我说：“看哪，我来了，正如经卷上有关我的记载。我的神哪，我喜爱遵行你的旨意！你的律法在我的心里。”

你去神的殿时，要谨慎脚步；近前听，胜过像愚昧人那样献上祭物，因为愚昧人不知道自己在作恶。

你们如果明白‘我要的是怜悯，而不是祭祀’这话是什么意思，就不会把无罪的定为有罪了。

耶和华说：“你们所献的众多祭物，对我有什么意义呢？公绵羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂油，我已经腻烦了；公牛、羊羔和公山羊的血，我也不喜悦。你们来朝见我时，谁向你们要求这践踏我庭院的事呢？不要再带无用的供物了！献祭的香，是我所憎恶的；新月节、安息日、宣召的聚会——邪恶的严肃会，是我不能容忍的。你们的新月节和所定的节期，是我心里所恨恶的；它们成了我的重负，我已厌倦不堪。你们伸开双手祷告的时候，我必掩目不看你们；就算你们多多祷告，我也不垂听。你们的双手沾满了血！“洗涤自己，洁净自己吧，从我眼前除掉你们的恶行！当停止作恶，学习行善，寻求公正，指责欺压者，给孤儿伸冤，为寡妇辩屈！”

因为公牛和山羊的血，不可能把罪孽除去。所以，基督进入世界的时候，他说：“神哪，祭物和供物不是你所希望的；你为我预备了一个身体。燔祭和赎罪祭不是你所喜悦的；于是我说：‘看哪，我来了！关于我的事，经卷上已经记载了。神哪，我来是要遵行你的旨意！’”上文说：祭物、供物、燔祭和赎罪祭不是你所希望的，也不是你所喜悦的，尽管这些都是照着律法献上的；接着又说：“看哪，我来了！是要遵行你的旨意！”神废除前者，是为了确立后者。我们凭着这旨意，藉着耶稣基督身体做供物，就已经一次性地被分别为圣了。

“经文士和法利赛人哪，你们这些伪善的人有祸了！因为你们奉献薄荷、莳萝、香芹的十分之一，却放弃了律法上更重要的：就是公义、怜悯、信实。这些才是你们应该做的，至于前者也不可放弃。

我不是因你的祭物责备你，你的燔祭一直在我面前。我不从你家里拿公牛，不从你羊圈里拿公山羊；

就要把祭物留在祭坛前，先去与弟兄和好，然后再回来献上你的祭物。
