“ I regret that I made Saul king, for he has turned away from following Me and has not carried out My instructions.” So Samuel became angry and cried out to the Lord all night.

“我立扫罗为王，我后悔了；因为他转去不跟从我，不遵守我的命令。”撒母耳便甚忧愁，终夜哀求耶和华。

“我立扫罗为王，我感到遗憾，因为他转去不跟从我，不遵守我的命令。”撒母耳就很生气，终夜哀求耶和华。

“我立扫罗为王，我感到遗憾，因为他转去不跟从我，不遵守我的命令。”撒母耳就很生气，终夜哀求耶和华。

“我后悔立扫罗为王，因为他离弃了我，不遵守我的命令。”撒母耳很难过，整夜呼求耶和华。

“我后悔立了扫罗为王，因为他已经离去不跟随我，也不执行我的命令了。”撒母耳非常忿怒，整夜哀求耶和华。

“我后悔立扫罗为王了，因为他转离不跟从我，也不执行我的命令。”撒母耳为此很苦恼，整夜向耶和华哀求。

「我立掃羅為王，我感到遺憾，因為他轉去不跟從我，不遵守我的命令。」撒母耳就很生氣，終夜哀求耶和華。

「我後悔立掃羅為王，因為他離棄了我，不遵守我的命令。」撒母耳很難過，整夜呼求耶和華。

“我後悔立了掃羅為王，因為他已經離去不跟隨我，也不執行我的命令了。”撒母耳非常忿怒，整夜哀求耶和華。

『我設立掃羅為王、我後悔了，因為他退轉而不跟從我，不實行我吩咐的話。』撒母耳很着急，終夜向永恆主哀呼。

「我後悔立掃羅為王了，因為他轉離不跟從我，也不執行我的命令。」撒母耳為此很苦惱，整夜向耶和華哀求。

我立掃羅為王、今則悔之、以其背我、而不我從、亦不遵行我命、撒母耳怒、終夜籲耶和華、

掃羅違我、不遵我命、昔立之為王、今則悔焉。撒母耳甚憂、終夜禱耶和華。

我立掃羅為王、今我悔矣、因其違我、不遵我命、撒母耳甚憂、終夜呼籲主、

“ I regret that I have made Saul king, because he has turned away from me and has not carried out my instructions.” Samuel was angry, and he cried out to the Lord all that night.

“ I am very sad I have made Saul king. He has turned away from me. He has not done what I directed him to do.” When Samuel heard that, he was angry. He cried out to the Lord during that whole night.

“ I regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned back from following me and has not performed my commandments.” And Samuel was angry, and he cried to the Lord all night.

“ I am sorry that I ever made Saul king, for he has not been loyal to me and has refused to obey my command.” Samuel was so deeply moved when he heard this that he cried out to the Lord all night.

“ I regret that I made Saul king, for he has turned away from following me and has not carried out my instructions.” So Samuel became angry and cried out to the LORD all night.

“ I regret that I have made Saul king, because he has turned back from following Me and has not carried out My commands.” And Samuel was furious and cried out to the Lord all night.

“ I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.” And it grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the Lord all night.

It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king; for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And Samuel was wroth; and he cried unto Jehovah all night.

It repenteth me that I have set up Saul[ to be] king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.

“ I regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned away from me and has not done what I told him to do.” Samuel became angry and he cried out to the LORD all that night.

“ It grieves me that I have set up Saul to be king; for he has turned back from following me, and has not performed my commandments.” Samuel was angry; and he cried to Yahweh all night.

Samuel said to Saul,“ You have been foolish. You have not kept the command which the Lord your God gave you. It was at this time that the Lord would have permanently established your reign over Israel,

the Lord regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

“ This is what the Lord’s entire community says:‘ What is this treachery you have committed today against the God of Israel by turning away from the Lord and building an altar for yourselves, so that you are in rebellion against the Lord today?

Then the angel extended his hand toward Jerusalem to destroy it, but the Lord relented concerning the destruction and said to the angel who was destroying the people,“ Enough, withdraw your hand now!” The angel of the Lord was then at the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.

My eyes pour out streams of tears because people do not follow Your instruction.

Now go and attack the Amalekites and completely destroy everything they have. Do not spare them. Kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep, camels and donkeys.’”

Saul and the troops spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, cattle, and choice animals, as well as the young rams and the best of everything else. They were not willing to destroy them, but they did destroy all the worthless and unwanted things.

The words of his mouth are malicious and deceptive; he has stopped acting wisely and doing good.

Let them come quickly to raise a lament over us so that our eyes may overflow with tears, our eyelids soaked with weeping.

During those days He went out to the mountain to pray and spent all night in prayer to God.

They treacherously turned away like their fathers; they became warped like a faulty bow.

But if you will not listen, my innermost being will weep in secret because of your pride. My eyes will overflow with tears, for the Lord’s flock has been taken captive.

Even to the day of his death, Samuel never again visited Saul. Samuel mourned for Saul, and the Lord regretted He had made Saul king over Israel.The Lord said to Samuel,“ How long are you going to mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and go. I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem because I have selected a king from his sons.”

But as for those who turn aside to crooked ways, the Lord will banish them with the evildoers. Peace be with Israel.

But the one who endures to the end will be delivered.

and those who turn back from following the Lord, who do not seek the Lord or inquire of Him.

But My righteous one will live by faith; and if he draws back, I have no pleasure in him.

The Lord has sworn an oath and will not take it back:“ Forever, You are a priest like Melchizedek.”

In return for my love they accuse me, but I continue to pray.

“ As for me, I vow that I will not sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you. I will teach you the good and right way.

I speak the truth in Christ— I am not lying; my conscience is testifying to me with the Holy Spirit—that I have intense sorrow and continual anguish in my heart.For I could almost wish to be cursed and cut off from the Messiah for the benefit of my brothers, my own flesh and blood.

If my head were a spring of water, my eyes a fountain of tears, I would weep day and night over the slain of my dear people.

At one moment I might announce concerning a nation or a kingdom that I will uproot, tear down, and destroy it.However, if that nation I have made an announcement about turns from its evil, I will relent concerning the disaster I had planned to do to it.At another time I announce that I will build and plant a nation or a kingdom.However, if it does what is evil in My sight by not listening to My voice, I will relent concerning the good I had said I would do to it.

The Lord relented concerning this.“ It will not happen,” He said.

He prayed to the Lord:“ Please, Lord, isn’t this what I said while I was still in my own country? That’s why I fled toward Tarshish in the first place. I knew that You are a merciful and compassionate God, slow to become angry, rich in faithful love, and One who relents from sending disaster.

Then God saw their actions— that they had turned from their evil ways— so God relented from the disaster He had threatened to do to them. And He did not do it.

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

As He approached and saw the city, He wept over it,saying,“ If you knew this day what would bring peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.For the days will come on you when your enemies will build an embankment against you, surround you, and hem you in on every side.They will crush you and your children within you to the ground, and they will not leave one stone on another in you, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”

If you or your sons turn away from following Me and do not keep My commands— My statutes that I have set before you— and if you go and serve other gods and worship them,I will cut off Israel from the land I gave them, and I will reject the temple I have sanctified for My name. Israel will become an object of scorn and ridicule among all the peoples.

They constantly tested God and provoked the Holy One of Israel.
