“我后悔立扫罗为王了，因为他转离不跟从我，也不执行我的命令。”撒母耳为此很苦恼，整夜向耶和华哀求。

“我立扫罗为王，我后悔了；因为他转去不跟从我，不遵守我的命令。”撒母耳便甚忧愁，终夜哀求耶和华。

“我立扫罗为王，我感到遗憾，因为他转去不跟从我，不遵守我的命令。”撒母耳就很生气，终夜哀求耶和华。

『我設立掃羅為王、我後悔了，因為他退轉而不跟從我，不實行我吩咐的話。』撒母耳很着急，終夜向永恆主哀呼。

「我後悔立掃羅為王了，因為他轉離不跟從我，也不執行我的命令。」撒母耳為此很苦惱，整夜向耶和華哀求。

我立掃羅為王、今則悔之、以其背我、而不我從、亦不遵行我命、撒母耳怒、終夜籲耶和華、

掃羅違我、不遵我命、昔立之為王、今則悔焉。撒母耳甚憂、終夜禱耶和華。

“ I regret that I have made Saul king, because he has turned away from me and has not carried out my instructions.” Samuel was angry, and he cried out to the Lord all that night.

“ I am very sad I have made Saul king. He has turned away from me. He has not done what I directed him to do.” When Samuel heard that, he was angry. He cried out to the Lord during that whole night.

“ I regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned back from following me and has not performed my commandments.” And Samuel was angry, and he cried to the Lord all night.

“ I am sorry that I ever made Saul king, for he has not been loyal to me and has refused to obey my command.” Samuel was so deeply moved when he heard this that he cried out to the Lord all night.

“ I regret that I made Saul king, for he has turned away from following me and has not carried out my instructions.” So Samuel became angry and cried out to the LORD all night.

“ I regret that I have made Saul king, because he has turned back from following Me and has not carried out My commands.” And Samuel was furious and cried out to the Lord all night.

“ I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.” And it grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the Lord all night.

It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king; for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And Samuel was wroth; and he cried unto Jehovah all night.

“ I regret that I made Saul king, for he has turned away from following Me and has not carried out My instructions.” So Samuel became angry and cried out to the Lord all night.

It repenteth me that I have set up Saul[ to be] king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.

“ I regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned away from me and has not done what I told him to do.” Samuel became angry and he cried out to the LORD all that night.

“ It grieves me that I have set up Saul to be king; for he has turned back from following me, and has not performed my commandments.” Samuel was angry; and he cried to Yahweh all night.

撒母耳对扫罗说：“你做了愚蠢的事！你没有遵守耶和华你的神所吩咐你的诫命。不然，耶和华就会坚立你在以色列的王权到永远了；

耶和华就后悔在地上造了人，心中忧伤。

我的眼睛泪流成河，因为人们不遵守你的律法。

现在你要去攻打亚玛力人，把他们所有的一切都灭绝净尽，不可怜恤他们；无论是男女、幼童、婴儿，还是牛羊、骆驼、驴子，都要杀灭。’”

但扫罗和军兵顾惜亚甲和上好的牛羊、肥牛犊、羊羔以及一切美好的东西，不愿意把这些灭绝净尽；至于一切轻贱的、没有价值的东西，他们都灭绝净尽。

他口中的话语充满奸恶和欺诈，他不再有智慧，也不再行善。

就在那些日子里，耶稣有一次出去到山上祷告；他整夜向神祷告。

他们退缩、背信，如同他们的祖先；他们扭曲，如同松弛的弓。

撒母耳直到死的日子，再也没有见扫罗，但撒母耳为扫罗悲恸。耶和华后悔立扫罗为以色列的王。耶和华对撒母耳说：“你为扫罗悲恸要到什么时候呢？我已经厌弃他作以色列的王。你把犄角装满膏油，去吧，我要派遣你到伯利恒人耶西那里，因为我在他的儿子中选定了一个王。”

至于那些偏行歪路的人，耶和华必把他们与作恶的人一同除去。愿平安临到以色列！

但是忍耐到底的，这个人将会得救。

我的义人将因信而活；如果他退缩，我的心就不喜悦他。”

耶和华起了誓，绝不后悔；他说：“你是照着麦基洗德的等级，永远作祭司。”

他们用控告来回报我的爱，但我不断地祷告。

“至于我，我绝不会停止为你们祷告而得罪耶和华，我必指教你们那美善、正直的道路。

我在基督里说真话，不是在说谎；我的良心藉着圣灵与我一同作证：我极其忧伤，心里时常苦痛。为了我的同胞，我的骨肉之亲，就算我自己被诅咒、与基督分离，我也愿意。

向耶和华祷告，说：“哦，耶和华啊！难道这不就是我还在本国时所说的那样吗？这正是我事先逃往塔尔施的原因，因为我知道：你是有恩惠、有怜悯的神，不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱，而且是施怜悯不降下灾祸的那一位。

神看到他们所行的——从邪恶的道路上转回了，神就施怜悯，没有降下原先所说的要降在他们身上的灾祸。

但是我告诉你们：要爱你们的敌人，为那些逼迫你们的人祷告，

耶稣快到耶路撒冷的时候，看见那城，就为她哭泣，说：“巴不得你在这日子里明白关乎你和平的事，但如今这事在你眼前被隐藏了。因为日子将临到你，你的敌人要筑起壁垒包围你，四面困住你。而且，他们要将你和你里面的儿女猛摔在地，不容你里面有一块石头留在另一块石头上，因为你没有认出神临到你的时候。”

他们屡次试探神，惹动以色列的圣者。
