Then Samuel said to Saul,“ I was the one the LORD sent to anoint you as king over his people Israel. Now listen to what the LORD says.

撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华差遣我膏你为王，治理他的百姓以色列；所以你当听从耶和华的话。

撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华差遣我膏你为王，治理他的百姓以色列，现在你要听从耶和华的话。

撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华差遣我膏你为王，治理他的百姓以色列，现在你要听从耶和华的话。

一天，撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华差遣我膏立你做祂以色列子民的王，所以你要听从祂的话。

撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华差遣我膏立你作他子民以色列的王，所以现在你要听耶和华的话。

撒母耳对扫罗说：“耶和华派遣我来膏立你为王，统治他的子民以色列，所以，你现在要听从耶和华的命令。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華差遣我膏你為王，治理他的百姓以色列；所以你當聽從耶和華的話。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華差遣我膏你為王，治理他的百姓以色列，現在你要聽從耶和華的話。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華差遣我膏你為王，治理他的百姓以色列，現在你要聽從耶和華的話。

一天，撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華差遣我膏立你做祂以色列子民的王，所以你要聽從祂的話。

撒母耳對掃羅說：“耶和華差遣我膏立你作他子民以色列的王，所以現在你要聽耶和華的話。

撒母耳對掃羅說：『永恆主是差遣了我來膏立你為王管理他人民以色列的；所以你要聽永恆主所說的話。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華派遣我來膏立你為王，統治他的子民以色列，所以，你現在要聽從耶和華的命令。

撒母耳謂掃羅曰、昔耶和華遣我膏爾、立為其民以色列之王、今爾當聽耶和華言、

撒母耳告掃羅曰、我奉耶和華所遣、以膏沐爾、使為以色列民之王、今耶和華之命爾當聽從。

撒母耳謂掃羅曰、主曾遣我膏爾立為其民以色列之王、今當聽從主之命、

Samuel said to Saul,“ I am the one the Lord sent to anoint you king over his people Israel; so listen now to the message from the Lord.

Samuel said to Saul,“ The Lord sent me to anoint you as king over his people Israel. So listen now to a message from him.

And Samuel said to Saul,“ The Lord sent me to anoint you king over his people Israel; now therefore listen to the words of the Lord.

One day Samuel said to Saul,“ It was the Lord who told me to anoint you as king of his people, Israel. Now listen to this message from the Lord!

Samuel told Saul,“ The LORD sent me to anoint you as king over his people Israel. Now, listen to the words of the LORD.

Then Samuel said to Saul,“ The Lord sent me to anoint you as king over His people, over Israel; now therefore, listen to the words of the Lord.

Samuel also said to Saul,“ The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Now therefore, heed the voice of the words of the Lord.

And Samuel said unto Saul, Jehovah sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of Jehovah.

Samuel told Saul,“ The Lord sent me to anoint you as king over His people Israel. Now, listen to the words of the Lord.

Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee[ to be] king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.

Samuel said to Saul,“ Yahweh sent me to anoint you to be king over his people, over Israel. Now therefore listen to the voice of Yahweh’s words.

“ At this time tomorrow I will send to you a man from the land of Benjamin. You must consecrate him as a leader over my people Israel. He will save my people from the hand of the Philistines. For I have looked with favor on my people. Their cry has reached me!”

Then Samuel took a small container of olive oil and poured it on Saul’s head. Samuel kissed him and said,“ The LORD has chosen you to lead his people Israel! You will rule over the LORD’s people and you will deliver them from the power of the enemies who surround them. This will be your sign that the LORD has chosen you as leader over his inheritance.

So now, you kings, do what is wise; you rulers of the earth, submit to correction!Serve the LORD in fear! Repent in terror!

The LORD’s spirit spoke through me; his word was on my tongue.The God of Israel spoke, the protector of Israel spoke to me. The one who rules fairly among men, the one who rules in the fear of God,

Then Samuel said to Saul,“ You have made a foolish choice! You have not obeyed the commandment that the LORD your God gave you. Had you done that, the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel forever!

If you fear the LORD, serving him and obeying him and not rebelling against what he says, and if both you and the king who rules over you follow the LORD your God, all will be well.

Then Samuel said to Saul,“ Wait a minute! Let me tell you what the LORD said to me last night.” Saul said to him,“ Tell me.”Samuel said,“ Is it not true that when you were insignificant in your own eyes, you became head of the tribes of Israel? The LORD chose you as king over Israel.The LORD sent you on a campaign saying,‘ Go and exterminate those sinful Amalekites! Fight against them until you have destroyed them.’

Only may the LORD give you insight and understanding when he places you in charge of Israel, so you may obey the law of the LORD your God.Then you will succeed, if you carefully obey the rules and regulations which the LORD ordered Moses to give to Israel. Be strong and brave! Don’t be afraid and don’t panic!
