Then Jonathan said,“ Very well, let us cross over to these men, and we will show ourselves to them.

約拿單說：「我們去他們那邊，故意讓他們發現。

約拿單曰、我儕過彼、使彼見之、

約拿單曰、我儕經至是人之所、使彼見我儕、

Jonathan said,“ Come on, then; we will cross over toward them and let them see us.

Jonathan said,“ Come on, then. We’ll go across the pass toward the Philistines and let them see us.

Then Jonathan said,“ Behold, we will cross over to the men, and we will show ourselves to them.

“ All right, then,” Jonathan told him.“ We will cross over and let them see us.

“ All right,” Jonathan replied,“ we’ll cross over to the men and then let them see us.

Then Jonathan said,“ Behold, we are going to cross over to the men and reveal ourselves to them.

Then said Jonathan, Behold, we will pass over unto the men, and we will disclose ourselves unto them.

“ All right,” Jonathan replied,“ we’ll cross over to the men and then let them see us.

Then said Jonathan, Behold, we will pass over unto[ these] men, and we will discover ourselves unto them.

Jonathan replied,“ All right! We’ll go over to these men and fight them.

Then Jonathan said,“ Behold, we will pass over to the men, and we will reveal ourselves to them.

It happened on the same night that the Lord said to him,“ Arise, go down against the camp, for I have delivered it into your hand.But if you are afraid to go down, go down to the camp with Purah your servant,and you shall hear what they say; and afterward your hands shall be strengthened to go down against the camp.” Then he went down with Purah his servant to the outpost of the armed men who were in the camp.Now the Midianites and Amalekites, all the people of the East, were lying in the valley as numerous as locusts; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the seashore in multitude.And when Gideon had come, there was a man telling a dream to his companion. He said,“ I have had a dream: To my surprise, a loaf of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian; it came to a tent and struck it so that it fell and overturned, and the tent collapsed.”Then his companion answered and said,“ This is nothing else but the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel! Into his hand God has delivered Midian and the whole camp.”
