Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor,“ Come! Let’s go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised. It may be that Yahweh will work for us; for there is no restraint on Yahweh to save by many or by few.”

约拿单对替他拿武器的仆人说：“来！我们过到这些未受割礼的人的驻军那里去，也许耶和华会为我们动工，因为不论人多或人少，都不能妨碍耶和华施行拯救。”

约拿单对替他拿兵器的年轻人说：“走，我们过到未受割礼之人的守军那里吧！或许耶和华会为我们行事，因为无论人多人少，什么也不能阻碍耶和华施行拯救。”

約拿單對替他拿兵器的年輕人說：「走，我們過到未受割禮之人的守軍那裡吧！或許耶和華會為我們行事，因為無論人多人少，什麼也不能阻礙耶和華施行拯救。」

約拿單謂執兵之少者曰、我儕往未受割者之汛、庶耶和華祐我、蓋耶和華施行拯救、不在人之眾寡也、

約拿單謂持兵之少者曰、敵不受割禮、盍適彼汛、庶幾耶和華祐我、蓋耶和華欲援我民、眾寡俱可用也。

約拿單謂執其兵器之少者曰、我儕盍過而至未受割禮者之營、或者主將助我、蓋主使人獲勝、不在人之眾寡、

Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer,“ Come, let’s go over to the outpost of those uncircumcised men. Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.”

Jonathan spoke to the young man carrying his armor. He said,“ Come on. Let’s go over to the camp of those fellows who aren’t circumcised. Perhaps the Lord will help us. If he does, it won’t matter how many or how few of us there are. That won’t keep the Lord from saving us.”

Jonathan said to the young man who carried his armor,“ Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised. It may be that the Lord will work for us, for nothing can hinder the Lord from saving by many or by few.”

“ Let’s go across to the outpost of those pagans,” Jonathan said to his armor bearer.“ Perhaps the Lord will help us, for nothing can hinder the Lord. He can win a battle whether he has many warriors or only a few!”

Jonathan said to the attendant who carried his weapons,“ Come on, let’s cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised men. Perhaps the LORD will help us. Nothing can keep the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few.”

Then Jonathan said to the young man who was carrying his armor,“ Come, and let’s cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised men; perhaps the Lord will work for us, because the Lord is not limited to saving by many or by few!”

Then Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor,“ Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that the Lord will work for us. For nothing restrains the Lord from saving by many or by few.”

And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armor, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that Jehovah will work for us; for there is no restraint to Jehovah to save by many or by few.

Jonathan said to the attendant who carried his weapons,“ Come on, let’s cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised men. Perhaps the Lord will help us. Nothing can keep the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.”

And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for[ there is] no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.

Jonathan said to his armor bearer,“ Come on, let’s go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised men. Perhaps the LORD will intervene for us. Nothing can prevent the LORD from delivering, whether by many or by a few.”

Looking at them, Jesus said,“ With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

It may be that Yahweh will look on the wrong done to me, and that Yahweh will repay me good for the cursing of me today.”

Then he answered and spoke to me, saying,“ This is Yahweh’s word to Zerubbabel, saying,‘ Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies.

Egypt, Judah, Edom, the children of Ammon, Moab, and all who have the corners of their hair cut off, who dwell in the wilderness; for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in heart.”

Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake.Why should the nations say,“ Where is their God, now?”But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.

Asa cried to Yahweh his God, and said,“ Yahweh, there is no one besides you to help, between the mighty and him who has no strength. Help us, Yahweh our God; for we rely on you, and in your name are we come against this multitude. Yahweh, you are our God. Don’t let man prevail against you.”

David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying,“ What shall be done to the man who kills this Philistine, and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

Seek Yahweh, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of Yahweh’s anger.

Yahweh said to Gideon,“ There are still too many people. Bring them down to the water, and I will test them for you there. It shall be, that those whom I tell you,‘ This shall go with you,’ shall go with you; and whoever I tell you,‘ This shall not go with you,’ shall not go.”So he brought down the people to the water; and Yahweh said to Gideon,“ Everyone who laps of the water with his tongue, like a dog laps, you shall set him by himself; likewise everyone who bows down on his knees to drink.”The number of those who lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, was three hundred men; but all the rest of the people bowed down on their knees to drink water.Yahweh said to Gideon,“ I will save you by the three hundred men who lapped, and deliver the Midianites into your hand. Let all the other people go, each to his own place.”

Hate evil, love good, and establish justice in the courts. It may be that Yahweh, the God of Armies, will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.”

Your servant struck both the lion and the bear. This uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, since he has defied the armies of the living God.”

For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;

How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and Yahweh had delivered them up?

It may be Yahweh your God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which Yahweh your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your offspring after you.I will give to you, and to your offspring after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God.”God said to Abraham,“ As for you, you will keep my covenant, you and your offspring after you throughout their generations.This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your offspring after you. Every male among you shall be circumcised.You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin. It will be a token of the covenant between me and you.

Yahweh says,“ Don’t let the wise man glory in his wisdom. Don’t let the mighty man glory in his might. Don’t let the rich man glory in his riches.

Don’t tell it in Gath. Don’t publish it in the streets of Ashkelon, lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.

He was very thirsty, and called on Yahweh and said,“ You have given this great deliverance by the hand of your servant; and now shall I die of thirst, and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Therefore remember that once you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called“ uncircumcision” by that which is called“ circumcision”( in the flesh, made by hands),that you were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
