So Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God here.” For the ark of God went at that time with the people of Israel.

扫罗对亚希亚说：“把上帝的约柜抬来。”那时上帝的约柜在以色列人那里。

扫罗对亚希雅说：“把神的约柜带来！”当时神的约柜与以色列子民在一起。

那時神的約櫃在以色列人那裏。掃羅對亞希亞說：「你將神的約櫃運了來。」

掃羅對亞希亞說：『將神諭像送來』；因為那一天是他在以色列人面前帶着神諭像。

掃羅對亞希雅說：「把神的約櫃帶來！」當時神的約櫃與以色列子民在一起。

斯時上帝之匱在以色列族中、掃羅謂亞希亞曰、舁上帝之匱至、

斯時也、上帝之匱在以色列族中、掃羅使亞希亞舁匱而至。

斯時天主匱在以色列人中、掃羅謂亞希亞曰、舁天主匱至此、

Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God.”( At that time it was with the Israelites.)

Then Saul shouted to Ahijah,“ Bring the ephod here!” For at that time Ahijah was wearing the ephod in front of the Israelites.

Saul told Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God,” for it was with the Israelites at that time.

Then Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God here.” For at that time the ark of God was with the sons of Israel.

And Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God here”( for at that time the ark of God was with the children of Israel).

And Saul said unto Ahijah, Bring hither the ark of God. For the ark of God was there at that time with the children of Israel.

Saul told Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God,” for it was with the Israelites at that time.

And Saul said unto Ahiah, Bring hither the ark of God. For the ark of God was at that time with the children of Israel.

So Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring near the ephod,” for he was at that time wearing the ephod.

Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring God’s ark here.” For God’s ark was with the children of Israel at that time.

And David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech,“ Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David.And David inquired of the Lord,“ Shall I pursue after this band? Shall I overtake them?” He answered him,“ Pursue, for you shall surely overtake and shall surely rescue.”

And the men of Kiriath-jearim came and took up the ark of the Lord and brought it to the house of Abinadab on the hill. And they consecrated his son Eleazar to have charge of the ark of the Lord.

The people of Israel arose and went up to Bethel and inquired of God,“ Who shall go up first for us to fight against the people of Benjamin?” And the Lord said,“ Judah shall go up first.”

Then the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it into the house of Dagon and set it up beside Dagon.

And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him by the judgment of the Urim before the Lord. At his word they shall go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the people of Israel with him, the whole congregation.”

And Abiathar came up, and behold, Zadok came also with all the Levites, bearing the ark of the covenant of God. And they set down the ark of God until the people had all passed out of the city.Then the king said to Zadok,“ Carry the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the eyes of the Lord, he will bring me back and let me see both it and his dwelling place.But if he says,‘ I have no pleasure in you,’ behold, here I am, let him do to me what seems good to him.”

And the people of Israel went up and wept before the Lord until the evening. And they inquired of the Lord,“ Shall we again draw near to fight against our brothers, the people of Benjamin?” And the Lord said,“ Go up against them.”

Uriah said to David,“ The ark and Israel and Judah dwell in booths, and my lord Joab and the servants of my lord are camping in the open field. Shall I then go to my house, to eat and to drink and to lie with my wife? As you live, and as your soul lives, I will not do this thing.”

And the people of Israel inquired of the Lord( for the ark of the covenant of God was there in those days,and Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron, ministered before it in those days), saying,“ Shall we go out once more to battle against our brothers, the people of Benjamin, or shall we cease?” And the Lord said,“ Go up, for tomorrow I will give them into your hand.”

And when the people came to the camp, the elders of Israel said,“ Why has the Lord defeated us today before the Philistines? Let us bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord here from Shiloh, that it may come among us and save us from the power of our enemies.”So the people sent to Shiloh and brought from there the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts, who is enthroned on the cherubim. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.As soon as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp, all Israel gave a mighty shout, so that the earth resounded.
