Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God.”( At that time it was with the Israelites.)

Then Saul shouted to Ahijah,“ Bring the ephod here!” For at that time Ahijah was wearing the ephod in front of the Israelites.

Saul told Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God,” for it was with the Israelites at that time.

Then Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God here.” For at that time the ark of God was with the sons of Israel.

And Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God here”( for at that time the ark of God was with the children of Israel).

And Saul said unto Ahijah, Bring hither the ark of God. For the ark of God was there at that time with the children of Israel.

Saul told Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God,” for it was with the Israelites at that time.

And Saul said unto Ahiah, Bring hither the ark of God. For the ark of God was at that time with the children of Israel.

So Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring near the ephod,” for he was at that time wearing the ephod.

Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring God’s ark here.” For God’s ark was with the children of Israel at that time.

大衛吩咐亞希米勒的兒子亞比亞他祭司把以弗得拿來，亞比亞他就拿給他。大衛求問耶和華，說：「我該追趕敵人嗎？我能追上他們嗎？」耶和華答道：「追趕他們吧，你必能追上他們，救回一切。」

基列·耶琳人就下來把耶和華的約櫃抬到山上，放在亞比拿達的家裡，派他的兒子以利亞撒看守耶和華的約櫃。

以色列人到伯特利去求問上帝，說：「我們當中哪個支派應當先去攻打便雅憫人呢？」耶和華說：「猶大支派。」

把它抬進大袞廟，放在大袞神像旁邊。

遇到事情，他要去以利亞撒祭司那裡，讓祭司藉著烏陵為他求問我。他和全體會眾或進或出都要聽從以利亞撒的指示。」

祭司撒督、亞比亞他和抬上帝約櫃的利未人都來了，他們把約櫃放下，讓城裡出來的人先走過去。王對撒督說：「你把上帝的約櫃運回城去吧。倘若耶和華恩待我，祂必使我重返家園，重見約櫃和會幕；但如果我使祂不悅，我也甘願聽憑祂的處置。

列陣之前，他們在耶和華面前一直哀哭到晚上。他們求問耶和華，說：「我們應該再去攻打我們的同胞便雅憫人嗎？」耶和華說：「可以去。」

烏利亞答道：「約櫃、以色列人和猶大人都在帳篷裡，而我主約押及其軍隊也在田間紮營，我怎麼可以回家吃喝快樂，與妻子同房呢？我敢在王面前起誓，我決不做這樣的事！」

那時，上帝的約櫃就在那裡，亞倫的孫子、以利亞撒的兒子非尼哈任祭司。以色列人求問耶和華，說：「我們應該再去攻打我們的同胞便雅憫人嗎？還是退兵？」耶和華說：「去攻打吧，因為明天我必把他們交在你們手中。」

軍隊回營後，以色列的長老說：「為什麼今天耶和華使我們敗在非利士人手下？我們從示羅把耶和華的約櫃抬來吧，讓它與我們同去，好從仇敵手中救我們。」於是，他們派人去示羅把那坐在基路伯天使上的萬軍之耶和華的約櫃抬來。以利的兩個兒子何弗尼和非尼哈也隨上帝的約櫃同來。以色列人看見耶和華的約櫃到了營中，就高聲歡呼，聲音震天動地。
