你們一人就可以追趕千人，因為是永恆主你們的上帝、他為着你們爭戰，照他所告訴你們的。

你們必追趕你們的仇敵，他們必在你們面前倒斃於刀劍之下。你們五個人就可以追趕一百人，你們一百人就可以追趕一萬人；你們的仇敵必在你們面前倒斃於刀劍之下。
